Hi Greg,

I have had my bank block my ATM card for that business day, when I entered the wrong PIN number several times in a row. Like Kevin, I have too many PIN numbers and accounts.

Last Friday I was in the drive-in teller lane and heard a guy cursing at the top of his lungs next to me in the ATM lane. It seems he took a few seconds too long to remove his ATM card when he was finished and it was eaten. He jumped out of his car and ran up to the teller window waving his arms and screaming. At first I thought that he was a madman and was ready for gunfire. He finally went back to his car and peeled out, then skidded into a parking space in front of the bank. I didn't stick around for the finale. ;o))

Hey Greg,

We are doing fine! Thanks for asking. My wife is a very shy and private person. She doesn't enjoy reading about herself on public forums. Well she is asleep right now so I guess it's OK. ;o))))) Just the typical stuff...some homesickness, missing certain foods, missing family, friends, neighbors, the gays, enemies, the yelling and fighting, the teasing, the gossip (all are forgiven) ;o)), speaking the language, the rooster's crow, the garbage, the pollution, the jeepneys and tricycles, the sound of rain on the tin parts of the roof, water leaking in through the nipa part, the TV shows, getting bit by bugs at the movie theater.... ;o)))))

A motor mount broke on my car, which made my wife very happy. I asked her why, since I was very unhappy. She said my engine banging around reminded her of the sound the jeepneys made back home. ;o))) I have learned that I've been mispronouncing many English words for years. ;o)) Two of them are hippopotamus and kitty. Life with a Filipina is not only an adventure, it can be a whole lot of fun! Good luck with little Greg and your Mahal.

Greg

It  doesn't  surprise  me.  Don't  the  atms  here eat  your  card  if  you  enter  the  wrong  pin number  more than 3 times  for  security  reasons.  And  arn't  business (restaurants) supposed to  confiscate  your credit  cards under  similar  circumstances.

It's happened to me not too long ago.  Because I have to remember so many PINs and passwords, and I was in a hurry, I goofed with the wrong digits one too many times and had to have the card reset the next business day.
