Start a category for guys that were stupid and sent money.  To be honest Patrick is correct I really have no proof that Ulia ponamarinko who is listed, as a scammer on your site is really a scammer.   I sent money and she took it.  When we met in the Ukraine we had some great times, when I asked her if she wanted to pursue the relationship farther she said it would take more time.  On the train from Lugansk she told me she wanted to get her own apartment and that I should help her.  She asked for money only three other times, one time to bury a dead uncle and she didn't have money, the next time because she had all her belonging stolen on the bus, (Government ID, School books etc.) the next time because it was cold out and she didn't have a good coat and she was always getting sick.  I have no proof that she didn't do exactly what she said with the money I gave her.  It is all just my gut feeling.  And more that likely paranoia that I acquired after coming to this site and reading all the information presented here.  Look who knows if I just never came to this site to read the information I might still today be sending money and having a good old time thinking about when I would have Ulia in the U.S. with me.  Ulia never stopped writing or anything she never took my money and didn't do what she intended or at least I cannot prove it..   List me on your site, I'll send you an updated picture..  I am serious everything happen just as I said...  I have no proof that Ulia is a scammer just a gut feeling and probably mostly paranoia...

I would just tell her my dog was very close to me and I buried him in the back yard.  Tell her to do the same with her uncle to keep him close.

Ahhh, the old stolen purse on the bus trick.  I bet you had to send her money to get a new passport so she could finish the paperwork to be with you, right?  Funny how all the stories seem the same after a while!

uuhhh Ryan, your Ulia was already posted on the scammer's site before you told me, or the P-L board, who she was. Even though you now feel she may not have scammed you, a few other guys feel she scammed them. Ryan, you were not Ulia's first!

Ryan it is only my own personal opinion, but good Russian ladies don't ask men who they have met for only a week to help buy them there own flat, especially after telling the guy she thinks she needs more time to think about continueing there relationship.

I guess during the time of grief when a loved one has been lost a good Russian woman might ask for help in burying an uncle, but then again I have a hard time believing a good Russian woman would ask you to buy her a new coat, as she is always getting sick. Ryan, good Russian women just don't ask for things, they don't ask for money or clothes or flats.

Perhaps, though only perhaps, her boyfriend is down on his luck and she needs a place for him to stay. Cruel? Perhaps! I hate to say it, hmmmhmmm, but Jack is right!

Ryan, Jack is right about this..  I have met many FSU women and plenty of scammers, had many who were not shy at all about asking for money before I had even met them!  But no self-respecting honest woman there would ask for money.  My girl wouldn't even let me pay her cab fare!
You learned a lesson, just chalk it up to tuition paid in the school of "Scammer Avoidance" and move on..

Good Luck,
Oscar

Time to move on.  Next time meet a bunch of ladies and not concentrate on just one.
