green borsht... or what I call wild borsht because my honey saw it out in a field and started picking it with her russian friend and that night we had it for supper... and later she dug up some to put in our garden for the future.. yummy

instead of buying new undies when hers wears out she goes to wallmart and buys elastic... makes sense to her -- why throw out perfectly good truessee (my spelling) when they just need elastic... amazing  LOL

nesting... she has painted the kitchen... bedroom is next... put my place in order and is trying to reform me from being MR. BORDOCK (my spelling) LOL.

when times are good they are fantastic... I am still trying to learn to be a good husband when the hormones set in... like riding a wild horse... sometimes you stay on and sometimes you get thrown off... ive gotten thrown off a couple of times but I dont quit easily... LOL the main thing is patience and the knowledge that the storm will soon pass...

the way she makes me smile every day... I think ive used my smiling muscles more in the past few months then the past 40 years...

anyway as someone else said your mileage may vary... just my observations with my ukranian wife...  all the best,
Keith

I think the herb you are referring to is Sorrel.  I had a devil of a time finding it for my wife in Iowa.  Now that I'm in California, I get to do it all over again.  Marina has been pining for it.  Time to talk to the produce manager at the grocery store...

On a humorous note, we purchased a house rabbit yesterday.  After the last one died from old age, Marina swore that we wouldn't have a rabbit in the house again.  Then we walked into the pet store yesterday and found a dwarf lop.  15 minutes later we bought it.  She just loves the little thing.  Go figure.

After a while the novelty wears off and you really get to know each other. That is when the real tests begin. We have been together 25/7 for 3 months while traveling. But we still make each other laugh. And how many guys you know with a wife thathas a college degree, can work 40 hours and wnats to, can clean fish, cook gourmet style meals daily(it makes me sick every time I go to McDogs) irons all your clothes, and has no 'physical' hang-ups or inhibitions-if you know what I mean. Yes my wife and be a real sooka, but all in all-they all can be. hahahahaha
Like I said, show me a guy who's wife does this.
Joe
oh yea she has had her green card for some time now-she got it in 8 months. She will have citizenship in another year or so.

Sure it takes some effort and understanding but the rewards are great.

I say dwell on the good times and let all the tough times pass under the bridge.
