Howard,
 Hey, are you sure you're just curious???  I think I smell something cooking here!  LOL  Just kidding with you...I'm not going to start reading something into your post that's not there.    Yet.  LOL

 I stayed at the Apo View and also the Durian(sp??) Hotels.  Both are nice and comfortable.   The price was high compared to what some guys expect over there but cheap compared to here.  I remember it being somewhere around $40 to $55 or so back in 1993 to 1995.

We stayed at the Marco Polo and the Insular Century...also a bit more expensive about $55 a night when we were there New Years 2000....
