My parents both from bohol but I was born in Surigao del Sur(Mindanao)I was raised by my parents in bohol.We have local popular song about Boholana's and Boholano's and it tells about if you guys want to marry someone choose the boholana's because they well surely love you up to tagbilaran sorry till (kahangturan)forever.And boholano's scared about spending money.Were very thrifty some say over thrifty.You know what we use to ask fire from our nieghbor so we can cook our food.Why bother buying matches if our niegbor have fire or why should use 1 matchstick.Not only that mom keep telling me not to drop our yam because once I drop it i will kiss it and feel sorry.More funny story about people from bohol soon.....

My wife is from Bohol, best girl in the world.  Sweet, sincere, soft-spoken, pretty, smart, good cook, great wife,,,,etc,,,,,, She is from small village,,,I like her shyness and tenderness,,,,,she's the best!

Bohol was last place I went during visit in September. I enjoyed Tagbilarian and took the mandatory trip to Chocolate Hills which was very nice. Wish we would of had more time. Near Chocolate Hills we drove through small towns where they were harvesting rice. I kept thinking that I would really like to stay in one of those villages. Walk the fields and learn more about how people live there. Everyone I did meet was very friendly.
   Next week I leave for Manila and then down to Hilomos (spelling?) in Leyte. Does anyone have any information about that area?    Bill
