Hi,
I was a regular poster about, mmmmm a year back. I met, fell in love and married my wife Nancy from Surigao. Our paper work is slowly comming to a conclusion around late March, early April. I hope to take the big sky bird to the Philippines and bring her here to my home to start our life together.
I've been a lurker for the past couple of months and read most of the posts. I've been in the shoes of most of ya'll to some extend over my adventures finding a true soul mate.
I guess I just want to say, don't give up hope. True love is out there and don't be surprised when it finds you.

Take care.

Hi Ken,

Congratulations and thanks for a great message, "True love is out there and don't be surprised when it finds you."  I wasn't surprised but I sure am amazed when I look back at all that has happened since I wrote those first letters in '98.  Sometimes I feel like I'm having an out-of-body experience, looking down on the lucky guy married to my lovely Filipina wife.  It's very strange.  Was that really me who made all those long exciting trips, fell in love, got married, acquired a zillion new nieces and nephews, did all that paperwork, and now wonders at the serenity which sometimes steals over my mind when I'm alone with my thoughts?  It's very strange.

Good luck on your springtime trip.  I'd love to hear more of your story.  We've got Greg to pump you for information - "Tell it All" Shocked))

Hi Ken!

It’s good to see you back on the board again. My wife says you guys are in the final stages of the visa process, so I guess you must be getting pretty excited by now. Too bad you had to go through Texas and endure that long wait with the INS. We got really lucky and finished up everything in about 9 months.

That’s great that you’ll be able to go back and bring Nancy home with you. Are you going to be able to spend some time in Surigao this trip? I really miss the place. We are really looking forward to going home for a visit but it will probably be next year sometime. I hear they finally finished up that road to Malimono :-)

Good luck to you guys!

Hello Ken:

Glad to hear from you again.  You know, I was wondering about you just last week.....but I forgot your handle.  I do remember that you are from Alabama....I think.

Anyway, congratulations.
