Dear Gang:

It took 32 working days to process at the California Service Center. I did all the paperwork "myself"-- I put "myself" in quotation marks because without the help I received on this board I may have not even attempted to do the paperwork by myself. I thank all of you who have given constructive advice, not only on the paperwork but also regarding crosscultural dynamics. There are many of you. This forum has been extremely helpful for me.

She and I are going to Egypt next week, then to her hometown in Ukraine for Christmas.

Hi Gang:

I would like Warsaw to open a provisional file: Is the fax number from the U.S.-- for this specific purpose-- 011-48-22-627-4734? I got this number from the archives.

Any other specific advice for this next step would be greatly appreciated.

Your number is correct. According to the instructions that I got from Warsaw you need to fax the following:

1. A copy of you approval (NOA).
2. Your fiancee's full name, date of birth, and place of birth.
3. Your fiancee's complete address.
4. Your e-mail address.
