..or for the asian ladies, what makes you laugh?  My wife really cracks up over the "I Love Lucy" show and "America's Funniest Videos."  She also likes "The Three Stooges."  I'm wondering if a lot of Asian Ladies are particularly fond of sight-gag or slapstick humor.

Cheers,
Jim

Jimbo,
Melly likes 'I Love Lucy' and 'The Beverly Hillbillies' the most as far as comedy TV shows go.  She says the 'Three Stooges' make her hurt to watch them but when she does, she always ends up laughing.  How could you not laugh when Moe puts the wrecking bar in Curly's mouth to pry his head out of that mine shaft??   OR when Shemp pulls Moe through the wall and yells "It's a gopher!  Kill it!" and then he and Larry beat Moe with all their strength.

Also as Dave said, she laughs at me a lot.  Says I am just like living with a 5 year old.  Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk

The Filipinos love Curly, they become upset when they see Bully(brother) Moe beating on Curly. The funny part about Larry is pulling on his hair hehehe. Try sending some Videos to the Family in RP, they will enjoy it smile. I collect all the movies with only Curly in them. It's sad that Curly and Shemp died at such a young age, Curly died in the rest home from another Stroke  and Shemp died in a car from a heart attack. greg

Jim,

I'm not really sure if she's laughing at me or with me. She is especially fond of my home videos, where I serve as the director, cameraman, narrator, and actor. Don't ask about my snake dance. LOL

Most filipino comedies are sight gags as opposed to verbal jokes. At least the ones I've seen

Hey Dingo,

My wife really likes my disappearing leg routine and my one-man ballroom dancing...especially my cha cha and meringue. I'm a Three Stooges man myself.

My Son's favorite movies are "Pee-Wee Herman Playhouse" and "BarneY". I sent some videos to the Children in RP and they really enjoy watching them, but really their favorite is Curly in the Three Stooges. It's difficult to find these movies in RP, you need to bring them from USA. As you know, I'm a classic video movie collector, I shopped the Video movie stores of Manila and I could find no movie of good Quaility, most are copies. greg
