....Surprises, I mean.  (LOL)

You're doing a great job with the Asian Sweetie website.

Also.....Tess and I enjoyed the meal with you and Windmill Boy on SUnday.  Let's do it again soon.

Yes, it was lots of fun. I especially liked the look on your and Tess' face when they brought something new. Tess' eyes would widen with a "wow that looks great" expression, while your's would narrow with a "do they really expect me to eat THAT?" kind of look. Next time we'll get a lobster. Too bad WB is allergic to seafood, but he looked like he had lots of fun.

Jeff

Yes I certainly did  have  a  good  time  at  lunch  with all of  you.  Sorry  about  the  seafood  thing though,  the Lobsters and  Crabs sure looked  huge  in  that  tank  just  waiting  for  some  butter  and  a  lemon  or  however  the  chinese  serve with  them  ha ha ha.

I hope you will  enjoy the bottle of  sparkling  wine  that  my  landlord  gave  to  me  to  bring  to  the party. Maybe  he  is  trying  to  tell  me  to  get  out  of  the  house  more  often  ha ha ha.  Anyway  it  was  warm by  the  time  I  arrived  in  LA.  If  I  was  back  home  in  the northeast  I could have used nature's  refridgerator  and  thrown  it  in  the  back  of  my  truck with  a  chunck  of  snow ha ha ha.  But  here  in  southern  california  it  would  have  just  gotten  dirt  from  my truck  bed and  stayed lukewarm anyways ha ha ha.

I  felt  guilty  that  my  landlord  did  that  for  me  so  I baked  2  more  linzer  tarts  one  for  him  and  one  for  Moi (after  all  they  are  one  of  my  favorites).  Wow  after  living  here  over  a  year  and  never have  used  the  oven even  once   I  used  it  twice  in  4  days  --- unbelievable!

I really  did  enjoy  the party  and  their  Japanese  hospitality  was  fantastic.  Sitting  down  with  you  was much  beter than  exchangeing  a  few  barbs  over  the  internet now  and  them.   I  was watching  the  Japanese  gentleman  cleaning  off  the  ham bone  earlier  in  the  evening  and  I said to  him   Ah ... so you are the  iron  Chef  to him.  Little  did I  know  that he  owned  a steak  house and  sushi  place.  Then He  told  me  he  has  the  picture  of  him and  the  real  iron chef standing together ha ha ha.  It's  too  bad I wasn't  able to hook up  with  any  women, but I  really  enjoyed  myself  there anyways.  Now  I have  to start  saving for  a  trip  to  asia in  the  future.

Thanks  again  Jeff

Great party wasn't it. You missed out on that cutie on the couch. I found out she was 20 yrs old the next night when a bunch of us went to Hank Hamada's sushi bar (he was the guy you were talking to) and she was there. All in all, a bunch of nice folks there. That Linzer tart is absolutely wonderful - thanks! We're slowly savoring it.

Gotta get down more often. Next time I'll take you on a grand tour of Little Saigon and Korea Town. In little Saigon you can walk for blocks and see hundreds of people and be the only caucasion, right in the middle of Orange County - amazing. I see more gringos in Tokyo than in Little Saigon.
