I just read that they use a non-food additive "borax" to bind those little tapioca balls in the Zagu and Orbits pearl shakes. I guess this stuff breaks down your immune system and leaves  you very susceptible to flus. Guess it was blamed for big flu outbreaks in singapore and malaysia.
Dang, and those things were good! Im starting to wonder if some of that may be the reason i always seem to pick up a cold or flu within 2 or 3 days of arriving there...hmm
