I told this cutie that I did not mind sending money to a RW, as I have before... but my GOD, the cut and paste job is kicking my butt for sure! (there was a lot more to it, but you know what I mean).

My Dear Brian!
I was happy to get your letters I needed so long time in the person who'll be able to understand
my interests and me too. It's so pleasant to hear that on another
side of
the planet I have the person who thinks about me and my little angel. I was waiting for
such person so long that is why I value your care  about us. I'm so glad you are  a person
that know what he wants because I'm the same way. I'm serious about looking for a husband
and would like to learn everything about you. It does not take much to make me happy. I
guess I like the outside a lot. I love nature. Sunsets are so beautiful to me. I
have so much to give and I'm looking to the right person to fill that void in my life. I
have a big heart and want to give so much love to my husband. It sounds as if you have
a very
tender spirit and someone I would like to get to know.
I understand that you worried very much because of my silence. These days I
devoted to my
Artur. He needed me because there were rains outside and he had the temperature.
My heart was almost broken when I saw that helpless body. Today day was the holiday for me. At last
I have the opportunity to go to the internet cafe and a last I can answer your
letters. I hope that you understand that I haven't the PC at home. That is why I have to use the
service of the internet cafe and rent the box from what we correspond with you.
I pay for the service of the interpreter and for the rent of the PC.
My Honey, we like to walk with Artur very much in the park. He likes to  be on he swings
and plays with the animals, the football. I worry in what way it can be in such little
person be so much warmness, love , cleverness and opportunity. I feel that he's very
talented child. He has such interesting and clever sight. I love his eyes very much. They are so open and childish eyes. Believe it's not just my words like the mother but in this
way even the strange people think.
In our relations just one thing frightened me. I practically don't know English.
But I want to learn it very much because you know it. I hope that it'll not bet the
bareer between
us. I want very much that you'll be my teacher. But you are so far from me…. I
want you know
that now I bought some books and some cassettes and now I learn it by myself. I
hope that you
aren't the disappointed. Now the interpreter helps me but it's so expensive for
me.
My Sweetheart Brian, I  am so happy that you are in my and Artur life. I believe
that you'll
bring me the light and joy. We need it so much and we leck it so much too. Thank
for it my Dear.
I'm thankful that you want to help to pay for our correspondence I don't know in
what I should
it but my interpreter explains it to you now.
Interpreter: You have to go the Western Union Office and transfer the money to
the name of
Drobot Tatyana and this is the information you need.
Ukraine
Poltavskaya area
Kremenchug Zip code 39600
Shevchenko street
h.30/7 fl.19
Drobot Tatyana
You have to determine the code, sum of the money and you full name. And say
everything it to
me. My Nice, I'm waiting for your letters so much. I want to write you a lot of
about my life
and about the things I have in the past. Right now I want to live in the real
world. And this
I see just with you.
My Dear Brian, I have to go. I'll be waiting for your letters. I'm afraid to
loose you so much.
We kiss you very tenderly.
Tatyana and Artur.
Ð,S. Hòìëêîåü àòàäøå  îåøïã ïòäêåã üîäùåãï, îïíåòäíë áäíëð üïä òäíîðâ

(BTW folks, first do not forget that I have sent only two emails at this time, and this response, which was definitelly a copy and paste job, why would I pursue any further? No way... now, try to translate the PS! -unless it's buried in my illegal russian sex talk book somewhere-)

I dunno??? I kind of like the girl I am writing to now. She said I was disgusting. Said all young girls like money, like to show off. And why don't I write to an older women. An ugly but wise spinster. She also said since I was paying for the internet service she is going to write what she wants and quite often :-) This is much better than the phony love letters I have recieved so far!!!

I am going over to the Ukraine. Made travel plans and hotel reservations. I also have an interpreter who is going to escort me around the city. I am tired of the writing letters. Yes! They all get very repetitive. So anyways I am going to go over and see with my own eyes. The Ukranian culture. Maybe I will meet someone who I will want to write to once I get back home and make a 2nd visit for. Personally I see the same women's ads on Kiss.com, AbsoluteAgency.com, Freindfinder.com and find they are with an Agency or Internet Cafe. How many guys are writing to them and are they writing to? I think you just have to be there to find out. I hope I am right???

I guess wicked emails are better than having them be cruel in person.  Some of the love letters I got just seemed over the top.  I thought the girls were too desperate.  You don't have to pay for those emails if you don't answer with E700.  At least, that's what I've been told.

Fortunately most of the girls are polite.

... in response to Ouch, Give me more phoney love letters, posted by BubbaGump on Oct 2, 2001

Well Bubba, yes you do have to pay to open, and to send emails thru e700, however, I have yet to be disatisfied by the service. (Even if you don't respond, you still pay to open the email - but you can delete what you don't want and not be charged for it).

It was expensive, however, I would check the girl's profile, to see if she was what I might be looking for first, before actually opening the email.  99 percent of these were form letters, (first ones only) and weeding out the rats was an easy task.  The most important thing, was deleting the messages from the 18-29 year old crowd (without kids), without opening them.

That said, using e700 requires no money from the lady be spent at all, therefore eliminating that "money" problem up front.  She can send you her mailing address and phone number through the system, but not an email address - (obviously they don't want to lose their cash cow).

After 4 months of using e700, I talked with the interpreter at the office in Russia, and switched off using e700, then started using kiss.com (could have used alternate email if I wanted also), and sent the lady money so she could pay for email and access over there, instead of me continuing to get soaked by the us based service.

I've seen a lot of criticism of e700, however, it does work, and reverse profile posting WORKS vewy vewy well.  Response rate is phenomenal, but you do have to weed out what you don't want, before you open the "mail".

Last bit, I would never consider ever originating an email using e700.  I sent out a few to ladies I was interested in, but never received any response from them. (apparently there's a lot of profiles there, that should be removed for latency).

Waiting for them to write to me achieved the best results, and I have NEVER been asked for money from a lady using that service.

I think Kiss is not a bad option for initial contact.  In this case you pay to be able to send emails but you can send your email address in your first letter.

A new site Megafriends.com is the other way.  You need to be a subsciber to read mail.  If you are a subscriber ans you send mail to a "free listing they can read your mail.  But "Free" to "Free" can not.

I understand that Kiss is about to update its DB and adopt many of the new features found in Megafriends.

have fun...

I use the Microsoft Outlook Express email program.  If go to the inbox the highlighted message is automatically read, so I would be charged.  If I click on a message to delete it, the message would be read again and I would be charged again.

Is there an option I can set in my email program so that the message is not automatically read like that so I won't get charged all the time?

... in response to Email question, posted by BubbaGump on Oct 2, 2001

Bubba, E700 is an online email system, accessed by a user id and password you enter through the e700 site online; using your browser.

You can't use an email application program.  It actually operates more like a strange version of hotmail or yahoo mail.

When you receive an email from a lady that has responded to your profile, her picture is displayed next to the email link.  You simply click on the picture, and if she doesn't meet your qualifications, then simply delete it and you're not charged for the email.

Only if you actually click on "Open Email" for that particular lady, will your account be charged.

The way you get started on this, doesn't cost anything.  Costs nothing to setup a profile, and post your picture with it.  You do this thru introglobe.com.

Then sit back and wait and see what happens... it will take about a week to start recieving inquiries.

If you get some emails that you are interested in, simply do an online purchase of tokens, then open away.

But I warn you, be SURE you establish some basic guidelines before you start opening them, otherwise you'll go broke!

It's a tough habit to break... seeing a cute hottie there, and you just can't resist it, and there is absolutely no reason you should have ever opened the email in the first place!

Once you settle on communicating with a couple regulars, there are ways to get around this... and they're quite easy to figure out too.

But the main thing on this is... I've never been asked for money thru this site, as the lady pays nothing for translation or email access on her end.

A letter like this just cries out for a sarcastic comeback.  I was thinking along the lines of telling her about a beach in Florida where the sharks are known to attack small children frequently.  We can take Artur to swim at this beach, or perhaps you already have such a beach in the Ukraine, allowing us to save the airfare.  Later, I will tell you what you can do about your email expenses.

Or, you can just string her along and say you want to help and send large email files with high resolution pictures of mountains, the beach, or maybe just the sky because you thought it was so beautiful you had to share it because she loves sunsets.  I'm tired of girls saying they love sunsets and animals.  Does anybody hate sunsets and animals?  Tell her that Western Union said there was no office at that address.

Maybe we can use the envy approach.  Tell her you regret her attitude.  Some other woman now will take her place in your nice home, taking nice vacations, driving a nice car, eating at nice restaurants, her children will be happy, attending good schools, going to Disney World (the ultimate vacation for a kid in Europe), experiencing new things and seeing places she could only see in a book before.

Oh, what the heck.  I guess the most polite thing to do is to never reply, but I would want to waste some of their time and money first.  This is why my next strategy will be to write several women in a particular region or city, then go on a tour to meet them and hope that some of them will show up.

You have received a form letter. Your scammer will spend less time reading it than you will composing it. Unless you want to create a scammer reply form letter yourself, I would just save it for future reference. It's not worth the time and postage. The scammer is probably a "Fat Yuri".

BG,
     "Sarcastic comeback"............turn the tables....
ask her for money.........such as ....."Oh my dearest____,
I read with great interest your request for money. How
ironic! Since I am a man of simple means, I was going to ask YOU to send ME money so that we could continue our correspondence! Great minds must think alike!" You can send $_____ via Western express to (address).

If she were to send you that money.

Of coarse she won't because the letter is not very genuine and personal.  It is obviously a plea for money/scam but how can you be positive what is going on.

I had been offered a chance to get even on a couple of occasions but I have this idea that is kind of derived from the Bible.  My idea is that evil will only beget evil.  Why should I contribute to a world that already has too much bad in it already.

If you felt compelled to reply to such a bad letter you might at least be honest and say that you cannot continue your correspondance because you felt that the letter was very impersonal and you are not comfortable in sending any money until you had established a better relationship.

I don't mean to imply that you should be stupid or ignorant but why waste time.  I know that there are probably a lot of men who won't agree with my philosophy but I just cannot see myself playing with someone elses life.  Isn't that the reason you don't like scammers.

Just something to think about.

Jim,
Sorry! Nothing "evil" about my proposed (sarcastic)
response. Very simply, I am humourously yet politely informing the "lady" that she is not dealing with a "fish" who happened to "fall off an onion cart yesterday." Again,
nothing "evil" about my proposed response nor is it a "bad letter" as you suggest. All the best..........
