Well, the original concept behind Casa Teo was that Pete would move to a house in Jamundi during mid December and needed to get out from under his existing lease in the Juanambu apartment (avoid paying rent at two locations). I was willing to take over the apartment for the remainder of the existing lease (2 months) with the option to renew the lease for the year to come.
What transpired during December was that Pete could not secure his dream house in Jamundi nor any other acceptable lodging in the south of Cali. Pete has a operation pending in February. What makes sense, and the decision that Pete is taking as I write this is to renew the lease on the exsiting apartment in Juanambu (Casa Pete) for at least 4 more months.... There is no need or reason for any new or different arangement at the existing Juanambu apartment, so starting 1 January 06 things will revert back to the way they were before 1 December 05 (no Casa Teo, only Casa Pete).
During December I was able to help Pete with multiple projects, the most important being the renewal of his expired visa... without having to depart Colombian soil... not an easy or recomendable task for anyone...
The era of Casa Teo was marked with a decent party on 1 Dec and Champagne and Jacuzzi party this afternoon, 31 Dec... The party is just starting, the only thing I know is that the first two girls to show up did not bring bathing suits!!!!!!!
