It wasn't just a better life for them which is debatable since all of them were happy in Colombia and never expected to leave. Speaking for myself I definitely have a better life. I just hope she keeps "spinning" me like this.

Congrats on a good trip and sounds like you found a diamond.
Welcome to the club!

Did you get to see MP while in Cusco or at least tour some of the ruins? I want to go back to Cusco at least one more time.

I enjoyed reading your story. Keep us posted.

I enjoyed reading about your experiences and it sounds like you did very well for yourself. Felicitaciones! My wife is also a devout Catholic but she told me she would never marry anyone without a "test drive" first. I guess the engineer in her won out over the Catholic! Nevertheless I would have been willing to respect her wishes whatever they were.

Nice report. I could have told you that you would be treated like a celebrity in the small towns in Peru. Same thing happened to me in the small towns on the north coast while visiting my wife's relatives.

Congratulations on your new relationship!  Kudos on respecting her enough to restrain your sexual appetite. This is a commendable and rare quality.

First congrats on your engagement .  But I gotta know where in the heck did you find a engagement ring for 100  dollars?  Was it a diamond? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you, just curious.   I have been to Peru several times, but never really looked at jewelry except one that I passed while walking.   I didn't realize jewelry was that cheap there.

Wow, congratulations!

I think you found the holy grail of what all man are looking for.  I too recently had a trip to Colombia and I share alot of the same feelings towards my girlfriend that you share with your fiancee.

It sounds like you had a great time with a great woman.  Keep the effort alive and your relationship will last for as long as god wishes.

One more time, congratulations!
