Its amazing the differences in prices.We are shopping for furniture.There are stores in my neighborhood who will try to charge double or triple what it costs somewhere else.A little dinero lavar perhaps?They don't seem to be selling anything.Then we go to El Centro and each store beats the price of the one before it.We found a KING Size mattress,pillow top,real nice for 560,000 pesos,thats about $245.What appears the same in a shop near here,2,500,000 pesos.No lie.I can't believe it.Beatriz got used to the king size I have now,its like a soccer field.Incidentally,I have a soccer field set up in my back yard at my Jamundy house.Its not full size,50 meters long,but the goal cage on each end.The neighbors have horses.
One store near here sky high,Beatriz uncle buys his leather couches at their El Centro store,same store,less than half price.Real nice Crystall top dining room set,6 chairs,1,800,000,about $790.Washer 1,000,000 pesos,dryer,900,000 pesos.Funny thing if you want the little ass stackable washer dryer its about 3,000,000 pesos,1,900,000 for 2 big side by side ones.
We are saving so much on most of the stuff Beatriz can have her 5,000,000 pesos leather couches with tables.3 Full size leather couches,seats 9-12,we will set up in a "U" shape.Huge coffee table,end tables,5,000,000,$2200.And her grande side by side stainless steel refrigerator,3,000,000 pesos,$1300.Looks like about 15,000,000 pesos total,about $6600 to furnish what 2 people need in a 5500 sq ft house.It will be pretty empty in some rooms.But we will have all 5 bedrooms with beds,3 I already had,2 new ones,even a new pillow top queen size for MY INVITED GUESTS,you know who you are,so get your butt HERE.
