Teo Blas is taking over my apartment.I should have possesion of my Jumandi house by 12-10 but will stay on at the apartment untill
Jan 1 ,using the overlap to get utilities turned on,install LP gas and a water heater,buy furniture ect.
Teo will be handling room rentals from here on out.But people who I have made commitments to,those who know they are coming for sure and have told me so are covered.This incluses Malandro,Darren and Jim C.Everybody else  has been as maybe so far so WHEN you DECIDE you need to talk to Teo,310-559-5930 or call me on the vonage,408-850-2962 and I will have him call you back.
Its been fun and an experience.That book will not get written,I have already moved on in  my mind,I am like an old married man.Speaking of marriage if Beatriz has a problem with her tourist visa we may speed that up,I can file directly for a spousal visa in Bogota since I am a Colombian resident.For those interested in that route,with a visa and 6 months Colombian residence you can circumvent the one year wait filing in the US.I want her to go with me to the states next summmer.Also,mamma is miraculously surviving and we may speed it up for her  benefit.Other than that no hurry,we are union libre anyway,basically living together is married here.
Even with my recovering from surjury and not feeling real strong yet I am as happy as I have ever been.Since I commited to Beatriz many things have miraculously fallen in to place.I know exactly what I want to do and where I want to live for the rest of my life.Basically its Cali,Jumandi more exactly,But I am hoping to travel 3 months a year.Build houses and raise golden retrievers,get involved in an orphanage,just enjoy life.

Hey Pete how is the pace of life in Jamundi? And about how far from Cali is it? I saw a listing of a woman I an interested in, who lives there. Thanks

Jumandi itself is 15 miles or so south of Cali.The place I am renting is 7 miles south of Carefore,gated community.Its very green down there,Farm country,cows,sugar cane.Jumandi is small,kind of cute,big social park ion the center.Safe?probably during the day.Beatriz' uncle lives right in town there.His house looks street front,but open the gsarage is finsihed a party room plus the house is very nice,you wouldn't know from the outside.An uncle has a finca 5 miles south of there,basically a party pad,no house just a party room with kitchen,banos.
Cali is expanding south.Carefore south is being changed to a big shopping center.There is a home club there plus another shopping centerjust north and 2 miles north of there Unicentral.There is a big Exito just north of Jumandi.
The house I am renting is in a subdivision I hope to build in,lots of vacasnt lots available.One acre,lake you can jet ski on.The rental house is 5500 sq ft,6 bedroom 7 baths,pool.The neighbors have horses.Seems like a $3,000,000 San Jose house to  me.One acre.wide open,not side by side like the rest of Cali.Some housaes are 15,000 sq ft.I will build about 4000 sq ft,the newer houses are in that range.Build for 400,000,000 sell for 600,000,000 In think.We will see.There is stuff half the size they are selling for 400,000,000,they sold 40 in October,newer tract house,2000 sq ft,quarter acre lot.
