I have read many of the materials there about sex trafficing, rape, and prostitution rings. My opinion is that nobody here should have any conceptual problem with rejecting rape and trafficing phenomena. What I reject - and assume others here reject - is the *assumption* that international matchmaking agencies are to be equated with such phenomena. I have never seen any evidence of such phenomena among the maybe dozen agencies I have personally contacted in Latin America. Neither is it characteristic of any of the men I have ever met who frequent these agencies. Certainly there are going to be exceptions where someone violates either the law (immigration law and otherwise) or else basic human rights, but this is not an essential part of international matchmaking agencies. If and where there are exceptions those should be dealt with on the basis of violating laws and rights, and not on other pretexts (like saving America from international brides and the supposed evils of those who search for them).

Perhaps if you can be elected to Congress you will be able to counter some of the idiots that propose such nonsense.

Hey just read the discussion board on the link you posted.  I like to know who the idiot was that started that petition.  Like that's going to work.  Why don't I start a petition to ban drugs, that has as much chance of there petition to stop dating agencies from exhisting.

Of course there going to be bad people in this industry, whether it be customers or agency owners, but to target the whole industry is just wrong.  I would love to see a documentry showing success stories of "mail order brides".  I am sure there are much more success stories that there are abuse stories.  Sure not every success story is a true sucees where the couple stays married for an eternity, but I am sure that both parties were happy for a while and it didn't end in abuse or mistreatment.  WHERE'S THE DOCUMENTARY ON THOSE STORIES?

They will never do a documentary on the success stories because it doesn't fit their liberal, lesbian agenda.  These women are man haters.  They want to destroy our happiness.  @#@% em, who cares what those biatches think.

Did you ever see the "South Park" episode where the boys are on the floor licking the carpet because they want to become lesbians? LOL
