Out of hospital

I got out of the hospital after 5 nights.Basically I have  an infection,the white blood cells were high and I was feeling bad so I went in,plus some doctor told Beatriz I could go in to steptic shock and die and she paniced.
It was mostly alot of tests and IV's.Seem's they think there are 3 sources of the infection,pnumonia,my colon and my throat.But I got sent home with a bunch of drugs to take.I feel OK,just weak,I sleep alot.
The hospital,Imbanaco if first rate.New private room,Beatriz stayed with me every night.It was relaxing actually.
5,000,000 pesos,about $2400.Would have been $20,000 in the states I bet,but I have insurance there.I kick myself for hesitation buying insurance here.For about $50-$70 a month they would have paid if I could have slipped under he "pre condition" rules,which is much easier here than in the states.

Glad to hear you are improving, Pete.  Lung infections are VERY serious business.  That doctor was correct and Beatrice was right to panic.

nice to have a good woman looking out for you, it sounds like if it hadn't been for beatriz being scared that you were going to die, you might have put it off long enough for it to have gotten really ugly. seems like you have a keeper, hold on to her, she's been there for better or worse.

Exactly what she told me,and she probably never heard the expression.I know if I wound up wearing a bag of sh!t it wouldn't matter to her.And she put it in perspective for me.As a nurse she has seen people wake up without an arm,the reaction they go through,where is my arm?
The other day I am in the hospital really washed out,she is saying hermoso.Me? Now? To her yes.

not long ago you appeared to to have been struggling with your decision in choosing beatriz as the one, or staying with one woman, whatever the case may be, perhaps you needed confirmation as to who you have chosen, i think the way she looked out for you was the way to see beyond the fog and see the light. most men only dream of finding such a woman, they are not easy to find, if you haven't done so, remind her what she means to you, tell her what an incredible woman she is and how much you love her en las buenas y en las malas.

Thanks Buddy.They really have to hit me between the eyes with a 2 x 4 to get me to not drink but they finally got my attention.But I plan on getting mostly resolved by thanksgiving so In can enjoy the holidays,but for now,no alcohol.
