I do land clearance for contractors which means i bulldoze trees, remove stumps and separate the hardwood for milling. I've only had one other woman work for me in 18 years. This was an x-girlfriend's sister. She worked out-lifted weights. She wasn't all buffed out, just a well toned smokin' body, like my wife. She worked one season. My wife has worked often this summer with the crew. We were working last Saturday-late. We were tired, and she was very hungry. She hadn't ate lunch. In the cooler i had chicken (lunch meat) sandwiches, a yogurt cup, a couple apples, and a danish left over. She didn't want any of this, even though ella tuvo mucha hambre.

My wife loves her pollo, but not processed meats. She complained on the way home about how i make her work all day without eating. i wanted to get straight home, but i knew i'd have to stop. My wife is trying to accustom herself to our food. She hadn't learned a lot of cooking from home, so she calls often to her mother for guidance in the kitchen. She can make a good pollo and vegetable stew with rice, and a few othr things. Her diet consisted mostly of meat. Beef is tops on the menu for her.

During mid-summer we attended the ethnic festivals downtown. Walking through the African American festival we passed many a vendor barbecuing steaks, ribs, chicken, and pork chops. With all the aroma of grilled meat filling the air I swear my wife creamed her jeans. I eat a lot of salads but i can't get her to follow suit much. She remarks strongly about the food i eat. She's not used to sweets and fast food restaurants, and she's constantly on my ass about my eating habits which is a good thing. What can i say? My 12 year old and i were used to the bachelor life.
