Ricky,my friend who lives in New Orleans was supposed to be here in Cali staying with us Thursday night.But nobody had heard fron him in days.Cali was definetly second to his concerns in New Orleans,although coming here would beat the hell out of a cot in the Astrodome.
Ricky mailed us today.He had 2 homes in the Lake Ponchetrain area
that were completely destroyed,but he is OK and staying with a friend who has a house on higher ground.One of the houses was an historic antebelum style house with a huge front porch.Hopefully he will be covered with insurance.BUT more importantly he is OK,because life is much more precious then houses.
