Well, the usual suspects couldn't keep it in their pants and decided to sully the rest of us.  It is not at all surprising why those with wives here in the US do not post.  There is no contest between a sweet Latina and the threads the ususal suspects create.  I am going to continue with my report because there is very little talk here of life with Latinas once they get here.  I thank everyone who posted positive constructive comments to Part 1.

The State of Florida revokes the sales tax on clothing and school items in the last week of July in order to help families with their back-to-school purchases.  We went clothing shopping during that time in major retail stores sch as JC Penney, Dillard's, and Sear's, in a few malls.  These stores also had advertised sales so the prices on clothing were lower than usual.  My fiancee was quite impressed by the variety and especially the quality of the clothing available here.  She was especially impressed at the low prices here compared to in Brazil.  She said that in Brazil well-made clothing in this variety is only sold in high end boutiques for 3-5 times the prices here.  She was also impressed with the architecture in some malls.  We went back to Aventura Mall just to take pictures of it.

She enjoyed checking out the clothes and trying them on.  It was here that I noticed how much other women were checking out my fiancee, more than the men were.  Towards the ned of her trip, she said that she noticed it also more and more and was uncomfortable with it.  She wondered if there was something wrong with her for them to be lookng at her so much.  She told me that in Brazil the same kinds of looks an stares mean that the woman is sexually interested in her.

A few days later, at her request, we went to thrift stores such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army.  We spent HOURS at a time in those places.  She behaved as if it was a MISSION of hers to look as stylish as possible as inexpensively as possible.  When we returned home, I was treated to  (or obliged to watch) a fashion show of all the clothes she had bought.

A few jackets she bought she intends to resell in Brazil.  She said that the clothes in the thrift stores here can be sold for 10 times as much in Brazil because there are virtually no thrift stores there.  She now has ambitions of starting a business buying inexpensive clothes and electronics here and selling them in Brazil.  In the airport on our way to visit my family, we saw 2 Brazilian guys returning to Brazil with a HUGE box full of something soft, probably clothes and doing exactly what she wants to do.

During the shopping trips to the department stores we also browsed through the appliance and electronics sections, and looked at the selection of TVs, steros, washer/dryers, stoves, refrigerators, etc.  She marvelled at the large sizes of the fridges and washer/dryers, and at the relatively low prices.  She was fascinated by the wide variety of electric stoves and ranges because most in Brazil are gas.

I learned something about the cost of living in Brazil.  I had mostly been exposed to hosing costs and food costs, which are lower there than here.  I had not been greatly exposed to the prices and quality of other goods such as clothes, appliances, cars etc, which are higher there than here.  It has made me think again about moving to Brazil, not so much as to whether or not, but much more as to how to make such a move without a large sacrifice in standard of living.

For every good looking 25 year old south american there is a good looking 25 year old AW, the only difference the 25 year old AW does not look back at us dirty old men.   All women are the same in nature, whether looking at a good looking woman half their age, or looking at an old lady twice their age with a big diamond ring.  In any case the species are difficult to say the least otherwise this board would not be here.

Why is that you can not post a message without throwing a few flames around?

Everything was peaceful and NOBODY mentioned your political views until YOU did, as in this recent example:

“As a foreward to this series of posts, I must ask Patrick and Hoda to promptly delete any derogatory posts that are directed at me and my posts due to differences in political views. My fiancee's experiences here with me do not have anything to do with politics. We all know to whom I am referring. In the past week or 2 I have noticed a marked decline in the posts by those particular individuals. I hope they remain in lurk mode for this series.”

Question: Why did you put that paragraph in a post about your fiancée’s visit?

Answer: Because you’re just a troublemaker and you wanted to stir the pot.

And now you are whining because you got a negative response to your obvious attempt to start another flame war? YOU are the one trying to “sully the rest of us”. Now why don’t YOU put it back in YOUR pants and tell your story without the petty insults thrown in? Do you think you can do that?

Thanks,

Ray

You're inviting us to remind everyone what a liberal, whining socialist you really are.  Not to mention your diatribe about your hate for America.  Of course while enjoying all it's opportunities.  You started it again.

As to your relationship.

My prediction is you will get scammed.  As you are way above your head financially and sound like a very cheap person.

Cheap people are always treating their life mates in ways that damage them.  With so many Latina and Brazilians who speak fluent Portuguese many will offer her a better deal.

Better watch her like a hawk as poor women will always go for the better deal.

What do you consider being cheap to your mate?

I would consider putting your love of money ahead of your love for your women.  That being said.  I am proud to say I do not shop in second hand stores for clothes.

Love is not money however one must treat your women with respect.  Asking her to wear hand me downs is beyond me.

Okay I was getting worried you were saying buy the expensive clothes, jewelry, and cars at first. I feel shelter, food, medical, and retirement come first. I see too many Americans spending money on expensive products not thinking about emergencies. Some of these women that want everything today seem to suffer in the later years when their husbands or boyfriends did not set up a retirement plane to help them out.

The statistics say most women will outlive their husbands so they need that safety net more than we do.

Yep, just blame it on the men, a typical line of thinking  among supporters of the liberated womens movement.

So you think a man taking responsibility for the welfare of his family in case of an emergency is liberated? I thought liberated was not worrying about it, and letting the government handle the problems after your gone.

"Some of these women that want everything today seem to suffer in the later years when their husbands or boyfriends did not set up a retirement plane [sic] to help them out."

Your accidental misspelling made the comment both funny AND a potentially worthwhile idea.

If she's not an amenable lass later in the marriage, put her on a special "retirement plane" back to her home state/country.   Tickets are one-way, non-refundable; and her boarding pass, passport, and divorce decree must be presented at the departure gate.

Still attacking what you know nothing about?
Heat what is it to you, whether he gets scammed or not?  Why do you make it your business?  Brazil is posting and some will benefit from it.  I say "Thanks" and "Good luck"...
Jamie, in an earlier post, did a great job in exposing your vile behavior on this board...

Clearly his modus operandi is to insult anyone with an ounce of patriotism (whether done so openly, or disguised within a "normal" post), then run to the moderators if forum members decide to counter his rhetoric.

You hit the bullseye on that one. Brazilophile has started the flame war again. His writing shows a lot of narcistic behavior, he's almost talking to himself in his posts.

"Clean CHROMOSOME", which sounds to me like work ethic, strong sense of family and a mind for business, this sounds to me like a positive move on your part.  But I have 2 questions, was she dressed "by America's unreasonably conservative standards" provocatively, or is she just that stunning.  I hope she was not made to feel so uncomfortable that she changes what comes natural to her.
