I don't care to know the whole story I'm just making an observation. For those us who DON'T know the WHOLE story & hear part of something it obviously raises red flags whether warranted or not. In my case it doesn't matter as I currently don't have any plans on visiting Medellin but for those who were...well like you said it's over. By the way I in NO WAY planned on stirring up anything lke I said I'm unbiased in this.

Its all good frank,everything happened the way i said it
did.But,steve has guy's, he call's to drive you around,and
translate.These guy's,have there owen rate,,,so he could not hear,
what is being said,so the guy is using steve's name to work me for
the money.He is colombian,,taxi guy,,,,what do you want,,,,same
here in chicago.Everybody working you for money,so no big
deal.Steve is taking care of it .And, i  no for a fact,,,,that steve does
address,the matter very fast.No matter what it is.Bottom line,he has
a big staff,working for him,to make things go well for us
guy's.But,he can not be everywere,when all of this is going on.Its
over,its done,thats it.

Same crap in Mexico man. I can relate. Main thing for us to watch out for in Mexico are THE POLICE!!! You don't have to be a criminal to get into trouble you just have to BE. Taxi cab guys all know me so that's good. They fight for my business.
