PATRICK/HODA- ARE YOU IN OUR CORNER?

I feel we need to hear from Patrick/Hoda in response to my post below with respect to those agencies that cross the line and go after posters. So what is it guys? I don’t see the point of any of us continuing to post if the forums are not going to be in our corner. Heat, Jake, CaliPro, others - you are crazy to continue to post unless the forums have our backs covered

Hey Papi,

first of all, as long as you are giving your opinion of something or giving true facts regarding a agency, you have nothing to worry about at all. Your right of free speech is protected in those instances. What you need to be careful of is knowingly making false statements. At that point, I think that a agency owner would have a actionable issue.

But the cost of mounting such a suit would be daunting to most agency owners, as well as where to file the suit, being able to determine damages etc. I really don't think you have anything to worry about.

As for Patrick and Hoda, it is not their responsibility to "watch your back", that is for each of us to do for ourselves.

So, don't let the letter from the agency get you down, continue to post your opinions and experiences.

And the truth shall set you free

Dan, at the very least, such agencies should be banned and delisted in my opinion. That is my position and am sticking to it

Papi,

I have no respect for agencies that try to intimidate former or prospective customers by trying to stifle free speech, especially when what is written is the truth or opinion.  As to whether they should be banned, that is not a decision for me to make, I'll leave that up to Patrick and Hoda. But, it would be interesting to hear whom this agency is that is threatening you. I for one would definitely avoid it in the future.
