I was threatened on more than one occassion by said Agency. However, because the Agency wrote me this - I have decided not to expose them and forgive and forget as difficult as it is to do

Agency Email:

I do not know what has prompted you to publish so many negative posts. When did my Agency ever treat you bad or without respect? We worked through many issues with you. Steve, I am sorry, I never wanted to arrive to this level. I actually like you!

Papi,

1. Since you are obviously scared to death of this agency owner and you don’t have the balls to expose him in public for his alleged threats against you, why are you boring us all with this stuff?

2. Was this last one REALLY your last post?

:-)

Ray, i guess so..there were maybe a couple others along this line. i would like to see an apology on the forum and then i can go ahead and send him biz again. We all make mistakes - I have made my share. here is my complete story which i posted on WLC in response to another post:

-------------------------------------
oh boy...i wish you had not done that. well, he did threaten me on more than one occasion so i guess it is his own damn fault but i was going to let him off the hook since he sent me somewhat of an apology. He does run a highly professional service but as you said in an earlier post: and I quote from Brazil Pro: "own paranoia and exalted sense of self-importance/self-righteousness etc. etc. SUMMATION: the guy is simply full of himself; need i say anything else!" I am not going to disagree with your statement and think Steve like all of us needs to work on some issues, especially how he treats his customers and the need to have his hand in everything. If he could relax more with his customers – he could have a great agency.

I sent some good biz in his direction, not only from me but 4 guys I know of for sure that stayed with him and one guy for over 10 days after meeting me in Costa Rica and my telling them about his agency. Steve could have handled things far differently with me as at one time I was a very good friend of CSH. In other words, "don't bite the hand that feeds you."

Since you let the cat out of the bag, the first threat of lawsuit occurred over my failed agency. I had sent a broadcast email to the many contacts I made over the years both male and female throughout the US and Latin America announcing my agency. I did not think twice about it. Well, a few of those emails went to a couple girls in his agency I had made earlier contact with including an ex-novia and one of them told Steve that I tried to get her to recruit all the girls in his agency to join my fledging company which is far from the truth and I do have the letter of intro I sent which I can post. Furthermore, he has some non-compete language on his B&B/Agency registration which I inadvertently signed as a CSH client which left me with a very bad taste on his agency.

The second legal threat came 2 or 3 days ago asking me for an address in the US, as his lawyer has something to send me over recent criticisms I made on the forums against his agency

-------------------------------------
here was my first announcement (in poor grammar), hardly an effort to pillage his agency

Subject: Hola!

Hola, por favor diga a sus amigas soteras para inscriber mi nueva agencia www.tropic-romance.com

Yes it does. Ray, I was not going to come out with all this because Steve sent me somewhat of a half-assed apology. I was looking to the forums to address this matter which by the way I received some private emails in support of that - stopping agencies from hassling clients -even if it means just banning. However, Patrick and company dont want to touch it.  Anyway, again - I was not going to post more about it and was talking to a friend about it on the phone and he made a post about it on the WLC and mentioned my name. I have made my share of mistakes too so hoping that maybe Steve could learn from this. He has the potential to have the best agency in Colombia. However, the fact remains that I am an ex-client of his and sent several customers in his direction and in return he has threatened me twice with legal: once for contacting his female members via my failed agency and a second time a few days ago over recent criticisms i made here on good old PL.  But again, I don’t think Steve is a bad guy – only his behavior.  I hope things change - he is the only game in town (MDE)
