"Yes, and IMHO, jamies agency is one of the worst."

You tell Steve not to give his first hand experience with agencies yet insult me with a second hand, third hand hearsay???
You judge me as the "worst" yet you never used us for anything and you are telling Steve he is out of line for his criticism? What a clown.

"...my point is, you have like his agency and i do not, yet i like steves agency and you do not, you see my point here HuhHuh??”

I get your point; you need to take a course in logic. You have never used our services and he has, do you get that point?

"i have met sevel men in cartagena that plopped down 1500 bucks with him and got pretty much nothing out of the deal, but i could care less, its his agency,"

No agency has the success rate we do with clients, none. No agency gets sincerely involved as much as we do in privately setting up a guy with 30 to 50 women over a two day period that has expressed an interest in meeting the client based on seeing the clients profile and meeting his criteria. It is extremely rare for a man that has used our Personal Introductions service not to leave Barranquilla with one or more women that he thinks may be a wife. So when you say "several" can we assume that means three Ken? I am betting you are a liar and have not met three such guys or two such guys. I know of two clients that used our Personal Introductions that went to Cartagena while you were here (and I did miss your hello) and one of them is emailing at least one of his introductions on a daily basis. For a man that has taken many trips to Colombia in search of a wife you should know there can be no guarantee of success. I never make such a claim, I detail what we do and how we do it and I give the clients referrals of our successes and clients that have not been successful in finding a wife so he can decide if this process seems appropriate to him.

I provide two links to Plant Love from my website because I have nothing to hide about our business and performance. I want my potential clients or past clients to access this board and hear the good and the bad. Since I can not guarantee success I understand some men may not be pleased with the results, however very few are not pleased with the effort and most do get results. I understand some men may have legitimate complaints and they should be heard, I am all for that. But I am also interested that the full story is heard.

Many men come down here more times then I go to the supermarket and can only complain about the agency or girl without any regard to their actions and decisions. I can only facilitate, I can not make the connection or sell the man on his qualities he must do so. I can’t make beautiful women interested in men 20-30 years older than them who are out of their league. I can’t prevent women from calling off and rescheduling. I can’t make amends for men who embarrass themselves by ogling cleavage as if they never seen tits before. I can’t continue to help when the man tells me no more introductions, "I want to date these women" and then after he leaves tells me I didn’t like the women he dated.

Did this man in Cartagena tell you on one date he went out with a woman that spoke English so he did not need our translator to attend and that this woman per him ordered a $100 plus bottle of wine in what turned into a $200 plus date? Am I suppose to control this Ken? I certainly get to listen to the man complain as if I had some participation in it. What agency would remove such a girl from their website for what the man should be 100% responsible for? The answer is none, but I removed her. When I asked her why she did this she told me she got so disgusted with the clients complaints about his past Colombian girl friend and his overall insults of Colombian women in general that she wanted to screw him on the bill which she says was more like $200.000 peso not $200 dollars. I don’t condone this but when you hear both sides Ken you get closer to the truth you should be old enough to know this.

Now you tell me what kind of guy goes out on a date and can’t control the spending of the woman or have no knowledge of what is being purchased? Without spelling it out, do you get the picture of what agencies sometimes have to work with? We see the men’s behavior first hand you don’t. Most men that have trouble getting women will rarely admit to their own culpability. They are not going to tell you their mistakes, which in most cases they are not even aware of. It’s always the girl or the agency for not serving a dish to order. We can only help the client to the extent he is able to help himself.

Understand we are never happy when a relationship does not develop but in such cases upon review and looking back there was nothing else we could have done at the moment. This does not mean we do not continue to strive to increase the odds for success because we continually do so and will continue to help any client to that end but we can’t turn a girl’s "no" to a "yes".

"my point is, you have like his agency and i do not, yet i like steves agency and you do not, you see my point here HuhHuh??"

It’s great for us all to know you don’t like my agency but you never used our services so your dislike is irrelevant to ascertaining our performance. It is nothing more than an emotional reaction for a man that seems to spend more time talking to Gringo’s in Colombia than meeting Colombian women. Do you get that point.

Look jamie

I was not really trying to be personal about your agency, i was really trying to get a point across to Steve that not everybody likes everything about every agency. I know you can provide services that others do not go for. You are too high priced for my pocket, but again, i do n ot need a lot of the services that you provide  because i am good in spanish and you can help the guys that are not. So lets just call it a day and go from there.

Ok Amigo

I would never do business with an agency where the owner cannot even speak the language of the woman and services he promotes, but again this is only an opinion. I am sure you have satisfied customers just as CSH has many satisfied customers, me included. I do not like TLC either, but many do. So, continue to do your business as usual, not interested in a smakdown as i was only trying to tell papi everybody has different opinion

no quiero hablar mas de esta subjeto

Chao

Hope you could understand the SPANISH

I can respect that opinion but your previous post did not have a foundation for your labeling.

As for Spanish which I study on a daily basis, this sentence is wrong on two counts:

“no quiero hablar mas de esta subjeto”

Correction depending on what you actually meant:
no quiero hablar mas de este sujeto
no quiero hablar mas de este asunto

Actually it's more common and appropriate to use the word "tema" in this case...

I've never heard "sujeto" used in this case...and "asunto" is used more when saying "matter" or "affairs" or "business"

i.e. "no es un asunto tuyo" or "it's none of your business...

Bottom line: the more acceptable way (at least in Colombia)  would be:

"no quiero hablar más de este tema"

FYI: tema is a masculine word....remember that one Malandro?? jajaja

again literally translated you are right Jamie, but the way I wrote it is the most common way to say it.  When learning spanish (and I still learn something new everyday), I like to imitate native speakers and say things the way that they say it...this is why children learn spanish faster than adults.

Right on, BT.  I hear "tema" used MUCH more often than those other variations.

yeah,

I agree.  "sujeto" is usually used in another context but I think its correct nevertheless.

and I generally respond to a nosy person with, "que te importa?" to mean its  none of your business.  but that is just what I would say.  your use of asunto seems right too.

and the use of "tema" to mean "issue" or "matter" is the more popular way I believe, but see nothing wrong with "asunto" either but not "sujeto" although I think its not actually incorrect.

Seems like every time someone rips on another's Spanish or lack thereof, his own leaves much to be desired.

no quiero hablar mas de esta subjeto

No quiero hablar más (1) de este (2) asunto (3)

1- "Mas" (no accent mark) is the obsolete word for "but", still used in modern Portuguese.

2- Masculine adjective to go with masculine noun.

3- The word "subjeto" does not exist in Spanish.
