Glad to hear the good report. Don't send her out driving without a cell phone in case she gets lost. Happened to my wife, one of the worst days of our marriage. She was lost for hours while I was waiting for a call from her to confirm that she had made it to her destination. While lost, she locked her keys in the car, engine running, at one of her stops to ask directions. Didn't call me from a pay phone although she passed dozens of them, said she didn't want to "bother" me! I was frantic by the time I finally heard from her.

Baaaaad day.....

Tommy, how's it going in the new city? Hope you two are well and getting settled in.

Going well, Ive got settled in somewhat. We are in an apartment for 6 months and furniture in storage, while we wait for our house to be built. The job is going well. Very different from what I was doing before, but a refreshing change. I'll miss Nashville since I was born and raised there, but it was a good move for us. Sorry didnt really get to say good bye. I interviewed and was gone in less than two weeks after meeting with the manager here in San Antonio. It was a quick move for me. My wife loves the city here. Its lot bigger and really nice downtown with the riverwalk. (and the fact its warm year round) She has the fun task of looking for a job when she gets back. She took a little vacation for a few weeks to go see a good friend of hers in Spain. She is taking advantage of the fact she inbetween work and no house payment. She gets back next week. She said the TSA agents went through her bags and hassled her some. She hates it when they go through her bags. She feels like they pick on her when she travels alone. Probably is some truth to that. Hope things are going well for you and C as well. You will have to come visit sometime. It is nice place to come visit. It has several things to see or do; the Alamo, Riverwalk, Shlitterbaun water park, Sea World, Six Flags, the Gulf Coast is about 2-3 hours away, same for Mexico about 3 hours away. Austin about an hour away. We will have a new world to explore down here. Ive only been downtown about 3 or 4 times and thats it besides work. I was reading the post about the problem with the I757(think its right #) change of status. You should be fine. We got the letter in mail for an extension too, it was about 9-10 months later when we got the letter to go to Memphis for the Green Card. I told her it will be better to get the blue passport. Less hassle. Peruvians can be dual citizens in Peru/US. They can use both passports. Its one of few countries you can do that, so I read.
