It's hot and humid there. Imagine a very hot day in August in Houston. It's not for everyone. OTOH, Medellin has a climate where neither heat nor air conditioning are necessary year-round.

Just kidding man. I'm from McAllen, & we are HOT!!! Very humid & hot. It's horrible. It was a blessing because it had a LOT to do with my ex wife wanting to return to Ukraine. I think a Colombian would not mind the heat here.

You're from The Valley! Yeah, it is hot down there, frequently the hottest place in the US is somewhere in the valley. Depends on the Colombian. If you get a Costena (from the coast), no she probably won't mind. If you get one from Medellin she'll probably spend the entire summer muttering "Mucho calor!" every five minutes.

Mine HATES the heat. As you know, here in Dallas it often goes over 100F, in Cali it gets what? 85? 90 at the worst?

"It's never this hot in Cali!"....

I keep trying to tell her, it's the "humidity" not just the temperature...lol

yeah, but some don't UNDERSTAND humidity. To make matters worse my wife was from UKRAINE!!! I remember being there in June & it was a BEAUTIFUL day. Perhaps mid 80 MAYBE upper 80's & she said "oh, it's SO hot today". I was like HOT!? This is PERFECT!!! Sign of trouble to come...

Heat can be somewhat abrasive in his posts and likes "stirring up the pot" at times, but running newbies out of Cali?

Now Heat, where is that DEA southern hospitality my man? ;-)
