Hello guys, my first post I think? Some questions. With the current threat of robbery high in colombia  most hold ups problably are initiated upon arrival at the airport. I want to arrive during the day and arrange safe transport to my residence from the airport; some of you do this quite often; any contacts would help. ALSO:  [1] BEST gym in Cali for gringo minded women.  [2] best time of year to visit cali. [3]  an excellent English speaking  plastic surgeon in colombia. thanks

I always just grab a cab at the airport.The drivers turn in a slip on leaving with you.Its not a problem at all.You get the next driver in line,no chance for them to choose you.Be sure you have good imformation on where you are going.
Best gym for gringo minded women?You mean to meet women?
I work out at Gymnasio Scandanavia in Centenario in the north.Its a good gym for women to work out but probably a bad place to meet them,they tend to upper class and conservative but one of my friends trys it,with not too muck luck I think.
Los Angeles Gym in Ingenio is the big one in the South.Lots of women,some girl friends of drug business guys who also work out there.Not a good place to pick on the wrong girl.Maybe someone else can help with that one.
Best time to visit?I like the weather in December to March the best,more sun,less rain,but its not bad other times.Busier around Christmas,some girls on vacation or lots of time with families but more going on for intertainment.Its slower in summer,not as many guys come.I always liked a winter retreat when it was colder where I lived.I think other guys want that also.

Well I dont know about all the airline schedules but if you fly American Airlines  into Cali you wont be arriving till the evening. They only fly in once per day.

I think there are too many people around to worry about being held up. I would suggest either having someone there waitng to pick you up or calling a cab once you clear customs. I dont thnk I would take any cabs waiting at the airport looking for business.
