Hey Pete, this is John from Seattle.  I met you down in Cali and had the chance to receive your most generous hospitality!  You had indicated that maybe you could head me in the direction of someone who could redesign the apt I am trying to buy and then someone that maybe could do the work.  A am flying down tomorrow to try and get the deal closed.  I know you are traveling but thought maybe you have the numbers with you.  Also do you think that Adrian would have any time to help me.  (being paid of course)  Hope you are enjoying your trip up here in the states!!  take care, John

Hello: JimC

I'm seriously thinking about buying an apartment in Cali soon and I was wondering if you knew about forms that needed to be filled out to repariate funds without paying a tax if I decided to sell the apartment in the future and move the monies out of the country.

Also what can you tell me about a wealth tax. I heard that people that have more than 80 million pesos in assets are subject to some kind of a tax.

I recently bought some condos in La Flora which are still in construction. I plan to rent for five years and then sell. I have the same questions as you. In addition I assume that rental income is taxable in the US. If you find out the answer then please send me an e-mail to my profile address.  Thanks george
