Although I hope I don't take your approach on the prenup thing, but that's another story...
I can't believe how excited I am about this girl I am about to meet on Friday. We have been talking on the phone daily for almost 2 weeks now. Of course we've also exchanged several photos and agency profiles.
As you may have read, this is my first time "meeting" someone over the phone first, rather than in person.
I can't believe I was going to wait a couple of months before I called her. I figured, "Why call her when I don't even have a trip scheduled?" But now, suddenly, she IS my trip :-)
I'm trying to prepare my mind that things might not go perfectly (yes, I have backup plans), but I sure hope things level off at excellent :-)
Hopefully I will enjoy the success you did (and still do) after "meeting" your wife via correspondence first...
I remember you posting about the nervousness/reservations you shared upon the first couple of days of your face-to-face meeting. I can relate to that, and I just want the "adjustment" period to get over with ASAP!
She told me to relax, that she will be attached to me the whole time. I'll get in late Friday night, where she will meet me at the airport. Sat. morning she will whisk me off to a manicure/pedicure, lunch with her family, and she is making a shirt for me to be ready when I arrive since she is a fashion designer. She also has bought me a bracelet to give to me, and has asked for nothing from me but photos of my family.
It sounds like everything is off to a great start, so it's hard not to be extremely excited about this girl...
