Okie here are some of my observations to maybe help clear up some of the confusion in project Latina

1.  More gringos are going south today then before, thus more women are learning the game getting spoiled and taking advantage of gringos

2. There are many beautiful Latinas throughout Latin America

3. Economics is the overriding reason for their interest in us, their wishing in a better life for their families and themselves followed by secondary reasons including not wanting to date a Latino, unfavorable demographics, wanting to start a family, etc.

4. Despite #3, many can sincerely form lasting and loving relationships with gringos despite age and differences in the beauty department

5. Latinas can vary by location in looks, education and sincerity/honesty

6. There will always be a % of scammers, flakes and babies

7. There will always be a % of loving, sincere and honest Latinas

8. There are many different options for meeting Latinas, from writing letters, email, agency citas, tour parties, hitting the malls/clubs, etc

9. Latinas do not like conflict and may often not tell you their true feelings

10. Consider not putting all your eggs in one basket

This endeavor at times can be either very rewarding or incredibly frustrating.  Some guys have luck on the first trip.  Others like me are slow learners.  Suerte

Thanks Papi,

I appreciate your interest concerning me.  But, I believe that I am not nearly the only one who could benefit from your recommendations.  It would appear that some of the other posters on this board and WLC think I just fell off the turnip truck.  Since you and I have exchanged emails and photos, I think that you would be in a position to dispel that myth.  Having said that, I am a grown man, and I intend to stand on my own two feet.  I will always appreciate good, constructive suggestions and ideas.  But, I can do without the other arrogant and condenscending comments from certain other posters.  So, I wish you all the best.  Starting this next week, I will be busy with many projects here at home. Therefore, I will be too busy to post much on this board for a good while.   But, at some point in the future, I will start to make my plans to return to "latina land".
Best of luck to you and your search.  Thanks again for your help.

I don't think anyone on the board could argue with any of these points. I think guys tend to think it's going to be a piece of cake and for some guys, it is. I lucked out on my first at bat in Colombia but I had a Mexicana novia before that with whom things did not go the way I would have liked.
