Mike/Isabel, my recommendation is to avoid Central America (CA) at this time. There are many better locations. I am doing you a favor advising you to table any consideration for expansion into CA at this time. I am open to new opportunities. Please contact me in writing with any concrete plans before we chat further on this matter at info@tropic-romance.com. Otherwise, my plans are most likely to exit CA. I'd be more interested in other locations in SA or Asia. However, I am currently exploring other business opportunities outside of the romance industry. Wishing you all the success - we need more top shelf agencies. Thanks!

Patrick, i have sent emails there but did not get a response. i know they look at the board and their first post about expansion was here. but ok, no problema. i just didn't want to make a decision without giving them a chance to layout their plans in writing to me. also, as i mentioned - i think there are better places to expand than CA which is pertinent to the forum. I would like to have them as an option - in terms of being a client and dont want to see them make a bad move like i did. Guys here want to talk about places to go. seems to be some interest here in Brazil - but if I opened there and spent $25K-$50K to do it - i bet I couldn't get more than 5-10 guys per month. great business.

As a client, I think Manizales would be great. I would also like to see more options in Medellin and Cartagena.  Brazil, Argentina and Peru might be good destinations.  Trouble is – the demand can be tricky on both sides – men and ladies.  As an owner, no interest without a strong partner

Have you ever considered Chili?   I have a neighbor, who is an air line attendant on the Santiogo flight.  She tells me that the Chilean woman are stunning.  Just a thought.  I have noticed that no one every discuses Chili on this board

i foresee two problems with chili: long distance (guys wont get on the plane), stable economy (the ladies are happy and not gringo motivated)

I see another probelm with Chile .... Papi has never been there  and he will have to go there to break in the new babes ... that is just the problem .. he will bring them in the wrong way .. and then when he does a trip report we won't know what kind of ladies he broke in .... I heard there is another FF in Chile ....... just trying to liven up your day big guy ............

Medellin, allready two agencies there, Cartagena, too much of a tourist city. Argentina, they think they are the best of the latin countries, i dont think you would have too many ladies joining. Now Brazil or Peru is wide open, both places just waiting for a full service agency.

I could not agree more ......... if you could decide on a city other than Sao Paulo or Rio it would be great . I can remember walking through some malls in the smaller cities with my translator a few years back and several ladies would come and ask if I was a american .... I would say yes from the north and you are american from the south ...only difference was a few years back your ship went south  and mine went west ...... Brazil is just as big a melting pot and maybe more than the US . We just don't really know all of this ........

Someone said something about food in SA ....besides Gregory Staek house in Cali , and great place to eat in Catalon , Brazil  they are the best I ever had , and that place in Bogota where they have the horses is also great .

ask anybody at any hotel , somebody on the board knows the name . Its like 20 minutes from town and very safe .. Great show and food is super .... get the big T-Bone ....
