Papi,

I thought about visiting San Andres but after reading the comments here I decided not to. People didn't have many nice things to say about it. Actually what I have in mind is meeting my novia at one of the Caribean resorts and bringing my family along- say my mother and brother, who would like to meet her but would rather not travel to Colombia nor any other South American country because of the so-called "danger level". They will if need be but a Caribean vacation would be a lot easier from their standpoint. Maybe Jamaica would be easier from my novia's standpoint than Cancun.

Zack- i moved this up a notch since i just saw this post from yesterday. I have been to SA twice and really enjoyed it. It's cheap, blue seas, I felt safe and a nice place to chill for a few days with your lady. There are some better hotels there making the stay more enjoyable. I like it better than CTG. It is not Aruba or some other high-end resort but probably half the price too my guess and a place Colombians can go without hassle. Copa now has service there out of Panama and you can also get there from Costa Rica if you dont want to travel to Colombia. Western Caribbean also has service from CA. You can listen to the others - but I been there twice and would go back with the right honey bunny without hesitation
