i'd guess more like $1400-$1500 plus air, etc if you can speak spanish. the guys that go on the TLC tours are generally not of the same demographics you find in the B&B type agencies - TLCers generally have more bread but are less savvy on Latin America

heat , add the airfare in that and you will have dropped 2500-3000 .... for 1000 bucks I can buy 750 address , or stay at latin best for a month ......... you are not missing a thing ... Bruce knows that his bread and butter are the tours ...... he will do and say whatever it takes not to lose this ..........

That what I see.  $3000.00 will buy you a month staying at a reputable agency.  There you could really meet hundreds of girls and really get to know them.  If you are serious about meeting a women that seems like a much better option.

Then there is the tried and true cherry picking method of booking a room in the same hotel as his tour.  You can just sit in the bar and meet the same girls coming out of the party.  If you can dodge the hookers, fat women and old ladies you might a couple of women.

But you might miss sexy Bruce sweating like crazy with that towel wrapped around his neck.  I guess come to think of it that would be a real bonus.
