What is the true cost of a TLC tour?  You have to pay your own hotel, translators, food and taxis.  Seems like we're running two thousand dollars.  $2000.00 for a weekend?  Without an personal service?

How is that a good deal? You could use that money and stay in country longer and really interview the ladies.  Get to know them.

Seems like a very high price to pay for very little in return.
Bruce does not speak Spanish.  He can't help you.

Am I missing something?

Is $5000 - $10,000 Too Much?
A New Pickup Truck can cost $35,000.

Most of my clients have jobs. Their time is very important to them, but they still want to meet someone nice. They need an EFFICIENT means to get introduced to the inter-cultural dating process. We charge $995 to new clients for 3 socials, not including airfare or hotel. We have helped thousands of men over 13 years.

TLC events bring out the largest number of Latinas. With hundreds of single Latin women in attendence, our tours offer the means for a gentleman to meet 3-4 quality ladies per hour in a dignified and relaxed social environment. The socials are 5+ hours each, so the men can select their top 4 or 5 ladies per evening and set up dates with them later. A man can generally tell if a woman is not interested in him after a couple of minutes. If she's not interested, he can excuse himself and move on to the next lady. Unlike using a local agency, there is no down time. He can meet more ladies in 5 hours than in several days at an agency looking at books, praying for dates to arrive.

We do not recommend getting engaged on the tours, even though some men may.

Common sense keys to success are taking time to learn more about the lady (and her family) through telephone calls, email correspondece, letter writing, ect. Multiple visits can give you a better feel about your novia. A fiancee visa also gives the client 90 days to assure she's the one. Having some Spanish skills is helpful. Many men pay for their girlfriend to learn English while they're waiting on her visa.

We offer guidance to clients throughout the process. Several years ago I co-authored a 410 page guidebook on this subject. See my other website "The Romance Zone: Single Latin Women - Relationship, Travel, Cultural and Marriage Guidebook " for additional advice:

To see what happens on our tours, visit the online TLC Singles Vacations video. Because the video is approximately 80 minutes, I recommend selecting specific chapters:

I spent about $3000 for my trip to Panama including everything like entertainment and dates etc. Most of you are really comfortable in foreign countries, Heat especially being an ex hard core law man. For me I looked at a B&B in Cali, think it was latin love or something but heard right before I was making the plans that the place got hit by gunmen so being the gringo colombian know nothing, I opted for the tour. My buddy's girl just arrived in the states so its 5003 weddings come August for sweaty bruce and his fat pockets, and my buddy thinks it was money well spent. As someone always says on here, whatever it takes, it only takes one and then its worth every penny. I almost got snowed here in SoCal in 2002 by great expectations and $3000 to join with 1000 guys and 5 ugly girls, so I guess I was happier with my purchase but we can always do better and that is what I like about this forum. When you guys really get into it, I learn a shitload.

What a great post locoabogado you are the type of client I have been dealing with in Colombia for many years.  You are the guy who stays uptop on a cruise ship and pays the extra charges while Heat is on the bottom floor just above the engines in a bargain priced room.  You are perceptive and realize value when you see it and because you are successful in life you make good choices.  The guys who make the worst choices are the guys who join Great Expectations or Together in the US or the guys who go to the Soviet Union on a very expensive tour.  When these guys come to me I have an easy sale and a very happy customer.  One thing we all have in common here is we are looking in the right place for a lifemate.

LOL...You could only hope to have the money I have.

Otherwise you would not be in you late sixties trying make a few coins from some dumb gringos.

While you try and scrape by on poverty money I live in a million dollar home in the U.S. and have the same standard in Colombia.

Ask they folks who viewed the photos of my Penthouse in Cali that I've had for two years if I like the bottom rung of accommodations. Pictures don't lie Jimmy. Or go and view them your self.

Why is a man of your age even working?  Did you not plan for the future?  I know Social Security is not much but did you save a few dimes along the way?

I guess not.  Maybe that's why your in the agency business.

Hey Heat, why the hammer? I just shared my perspective and made no ill statements toward you. You are just way more experienced and evidently wealthier and have more time to spend to accomplish what you want. I doubt I'd play poker at your table, I am not stupid......so I guess I go where I got a fighting chance. Does that make me a fool or just a guy trying to do what he feels give himself his best opportunity to make one score??

I always thought it was a huge amount of money for basically a couple of parties.Plus I never even had a desire to be in the situation.400 women is 399 more than I know what to do with.
But,some guys like it and thinks its worthwhile.Bruce finds alot of new guys somehow,I think he even advertises in USA today. So he pulls in new guys.Thats fine.If thats what it takes to  get them interested its OK with me.
But my advice has been if you are serious and persistent you will find somebody and you will need that $1000 for other things.
BUT,Jim C posted about watching BUD deal with nerotic cheapskates untill he had had it with the agency business.
I have seen guys who will stay at the Intercontinental  but not be willing to pay even $100 to an agency to meet some girls.Go figure. It takes all types.Chock it up to intertainment.Beats gambling.

I heard 60,which is alot more than any of them recently.I guess it used to happen like that before a few years.
No reports yet from anybody that went.I will ask Calipro and also Felicity.
He is doing OK.Its mostly new guys who would never know about it without his marketing.I don't have a problem with it even If I would not pay for it.
As far as hanging out in the bar at the event,I think the have IC security helping them fend off freeloaders. They are a hell of a customer.

I hear his number are really down.  The Internet is a powerful thing. people are learning about cheap and better alternatives.

Besides It's not numbers it's his profit margin that counts.

Watch out for lawsuits in this business.
