Planning a POSSIBLE trip to Peru in October (if not back to Ukraine). I was wondering which are the reputable agencies to use in Peru? Also what does a flat/apartment/hotel run you in Peru? In Kiev you can get a GREAT flat with Jacuzzi & all the amenities for about $60 a night not to mention $ .60 beers!!!
Anyways any info on this would be appreciated. Also how LONG does the trip take from the US? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Never traveld to South America though I've been in most other a continents save Asia.

Hello Frank O!!

Mathingsys.com is a great agency that you can buy a very inexpensive correspondence package with. Both myself and JimmySt Louis met our wives this way.

Also.....CherryBlossoms.com is also a great web site with many women from Peru...they are only 25 bucks a month.

From Los Angeles..its an eight hour flight to Lima.

If you have any more questions...feel free to write me at KFremont@aol.com

Good Luck!!!

Peru is LOTS cheaper!  I've stay an apartment hotel (Think Embassy Suites)in Miraflores(This is upper middle/class area), for 50 sols(17USD), stand queen bed room. or Jacuzzi Suite for $90 soles(30 USD). generaly a Lima is 70% of US prices. A bottle water is 1 sols(33cents), 3 course lunch(soup, salad, entree) WITH drink was 6 sol(2USD), Movie ticket at a nice theater is 7 sol(2USD).  Of course Burger King, KFC are same only SLIGHTLY cheaper.  Minimum Blackjack hand is $1 or 2 USD.

Well those prices sound a LOT like Ukraine but the ticket to get there is cheaper. I guess this could work out REALLY well then.
Is like $100 spending money per day good?

If you're hotel is no more than $50 then remainding $50 would cover ONE DINNER date PER DAY.  Not to some fancy restaurant but 3 star like Red Lobster or Outback(15-30 USD).  Dinner for two at fancy restaruant(4star) with drinks is 30-50 USD.  Then Taxi is $10-15 USD/day if you're constantly going from place to place to see tourist sites.

Where are you thinking og going.

In Lima, The holiday inn select is great. Not sure about any other places although there are many nice hotels there.

as for air, Delta, AA, and Cont. travel there I think.  Flights land either early in the morning or late in the evening.  cost run about 800-900 now or at least the last time I checked.
