Just to touch on a few points....
Felinessa...
Please understand, that no matter how clear & concise you feel your questions/comments are presented. How others interpret them is beyond your control. You posted something about US history that struck a nerve with those who have served on the military. If you've never served in the military, you really can't appreciate how they feel. The same goes for those, who know nothing of your life. Felinessa, you're more than welcomed to post. But your questions/comments will be supported & challenged from time to time! With you being a new poster, you will be under the microscope. Yeah, yeah, I know, it may not seem fair to you, but that’s just the way it is. We all had to go through it…So keep your head up!
Heat & Co...
Canada has a very professional army & one of the best Air/Sea rescue units in the world. Canada was with us, the first time we went into Iraq & they did sent troops to Afghanistan. Canada, just like the U.S. can run their armed services anyway they please! In regards to Canadian women, our brothers to the north are experiencing the same issues that we are here in the U.S. So let's not diss out northern brethren. There contributions to the forum over the years have been priceless. The U.S. & Canada are like family...we need each other & we love to hate each other (lol).
Folks, I may do a little "tree" trimming, so don't take it personally :-)
