I answered a post from SAKE on WLC.In thyought I would post it here also.

SAKE,
I am not denying problems,I am denying the extent of the problems overall.Your post came on how to start an agency then listed all the negatives you ever heard of an insinuated it wasw standard business practice.I still think your post was WAY OVERBOARD AND WAY OUT OF BALENCE.
You mention some people.I know many of who you speak of.I don't see the agencies responsible for the problems of any of the people you mention.
Lanny dated alot of women before marrying a woman he met on the internet.He made an excellent choice in my opinion,But he speaks excellent spanish and is a very savy street smart sort of guy.He did date a woman fron LE.He was teaching her english in an attempt to have a relationshio wity her.It was at my appartment every afternoon.He did have relationship with her.He was engaged to her.Then he wisely figured out she was a bad bet.Not a scammer in my opinion but lots of baggage,including a kid she could never get out of the country.It was a processs of discovery.He did the right thing.It didsn't turn out bad and LE did nothing wrong in my opinion.
Terry is the guy who I said did it right.If you meet 50 women a winner can jump out.Guys usual observation on seeing her is this is too good to be true.Last time he was here he told me its for real and for all her good looks she is a very giving person like him.
Luis was good friends with Margareth.Everybody loved him there,he is a GREAT guy plus excellent spanish.The last time he was here he was going to stay with Margareth but basically met everybody there he wanted to,so he moved in with me and went to different agencies.I guess Margareth was unhappy because she thought he would stay 2 weeks.But SO WHAT?She said there were lots of new girls.Not ones Luis was interestred in.WHAT BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE?He moved on,which was his right.Luis meets lots of women who adore him as a friend,but not as a lover.His challenge is he is very overweight
and Is shopping good looking  20's.Nothing wrong with that,its just difficult.He needs a woman who will accept him that  he can also get excited about.He is VERY savy and will not fall for a scammer.
KB is a good friend of mine.He is down on agencies and it seems even feels set up being introduced to his wife.But he choose her.He even took her back time after time AFTER he already got a good look at her.He sat her and told me for hours  what a SNAKE she was,used that term,then dropped his new girlfriend and took her back.He took her to the states.She had the cops haul him out of his house and claimed abuse.Then he took her back again.He IS STILL living with her even though he complains alot.He is shopping the internet and even coming back to Colombia while he has not yet ended that relationship.I don't think that set of choices belong to Margareth.
I didn't meet the guy from Norway but know his wife DT.Sure looks like he got worked over to me.Yes she lived in that apt accross from Casa Cervesa.When I met her about April 2004 the story was the guy let her stay to finish her University.Then I heard they were getting a divorce.She is a real hottie,even tried to start her own agency.I can see how a guy could lose his head over her.BUT WHY IS THAT AN AGENCIES FAULT?
I don't know the other guys stories,but thye ones I just responded to were about GUYS CHOICES,not agency fraud.Agencies can only introduce.Yes they should be honest.Buy your examples here just reinforce for me that you want to make the agenies responsible for guys bad choices.You may have said,but why are you som pissed at them to take such an unfair indictment of them?Did you make a mistake you would like to blame an agency for?
This is about balence,not extreme examples that might be true.Guys
need to be smart regardless of where they meet the woman.
I still think your post is WAY OUT OF BALENCE.AGAIN I DON'T DENY THE EXAMPLES MAY BE TRUE.BUT THATS PART OF THE STORY IN MY OPINION.AS IN APPLIES WAY LESS THAN HALF THE TIME,PROBABVLY NOT 10%.
New guys here might just give up aftder reading all the negative things said here by a few guys recently.This board and planet love have been extrenly negative lately.Its 3 or 4 guys.You are one.

Oh yeah...DT...have known her for a couple of years...spent some "quality" time with her in April...very nice...but emotionally unstable...I advised her against marrying that guy from Norway, I knew she'd never be happy with him.  I thank him though for buying her the boobs!

Your "behind the scenes" observations & "ground truth info" on life in Colombia have been priceless to all. You have taken positions, while not always understood....they have always been from your heart.

Just a follw up

Louis met a woman from Medellin that would blow most women away anywhere in the world. She adores him and they are really tight.

Me, my deal is over and she is on the way out.
Lanny, a scammer if i ever met one, sorry, but the guy still owes you money Pete. Cannot endorse him at all. he would screw your mother if given the chance.

Me, i made my bed, layed in it and now have washed and changed the sheets.Now i will shop for new ones.

Agencys seve there purpose. I think at 300 bucks , they are good deals at 500+ , they are a ripoff  and tours are not my thing, but others like them, but they are overpriced  for what you get.

I Roll Like This
1) Internet, Internet and more Internet
2) Chicas off the street, bars, ect(i got the spanish game down)
3) Agencies(ok, i might would use them for filler)
4) Pete's pad. All i got to do is show up and i always seem to meet a girl there hanging out
5) Tours--NOPE, SCRATCH 5 , WOULD NEVER DO ONE

This is my way, but hey, we all are looking for the same thing, so everyboy can do it there own way, this is just HOW I ROLL

Good to hear from you.I hope you get back to Cali some time.
Lanny doesn't owe ne money now.Has a nice wife,his wild days are over hopefully.But he could look out for number one.Grew up an orhan,got street smart early I think.
