Between Cali and Bogota, a man will have a greater chance of finding an educated, professional wife in Bogota.  Cali is not a good place for professional men to go too.  I stand by everything I said but since you have the control you can censor anything you want.

The fact is this board is dominated by Cali, when a professional man will have a much better chance of success getting an educated woman from Bogotá.  I have been to Colombia several dozen times, including Bogotá, Cali, Medellin, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Valledupar, and many pueblos north of Bogota.  I have met many Colombian women both in Colombia and the United States and have a good sense of the differences.  I also know that Colombians consider Cali a unique sub-culture onto its own (as well as the Atlantic Coast, Bogota, and Medellin being sub-cultures) and find it amazing and somewhat perplexing when I tell them that American men go there for wives.  I am also married to a Colombian woman, so know the importance of having an educated mate capable of learning English and finding a job.  I am speaking from my own experience and I will leave it to men who have all the information of both sides to judge for themselves what is bull or not.  Of course, I am wearing boots because I have been a member of Planet Love for several years, so couldn’t have survived without them.

Have you ever heard a Colombian tell you how arrogant the Argentinians are and then later show similar kind of arrogance regarding Mexicans for instance.  Colombia is a class society, many people like to put others in boxes, it makes them feel better, superior if you will.  The thing I like about Calenas and yes this is a generalization, is that they're less into boxes.  My wife has never spoken derogatorily about people from other cities in Colombia, on the contrary, she's extremely proud of all Colombians.

in many a man's life, friend. I too, have been to Colombia dozens of times & have seen many of the same "sub cultures" as you. What does it mean that some Colombians that you know, are somewhat perplexed that "many" American men find wives from Cali? I'll tell you what it means....

You do a severe disservice to those of us whose wives are from Cali & make yourself look ignorant in branding the woman of Cali, as uneducated & backward.

Based on your own limited, biased & bigoted opinions, those of us with wives/novias from Cali, are making some huge mistake. You know NOTHING of our wives to be so judgemental. Yes, this board is dominated by men with wives from Cali, who happen to be thriving with their new lives in the U.S. The reason, is just too basic for you to understand...

If Cali is so great, why is there such incredible bitternes and anger on this board?  You would think that all these men going to this “paradise” would have met their dreams by now and PL would be one big love fest demonstration of their happiness … not.  There is a lot of pain here and something is wrong.  Why would men be so unhappy who have found an oasis of Latin beauties – sincere and devoted to them?  The archives bear witness to the truth of my words.  Think about it.

Cali is an option, just like ANY other city, dude! Yes, no doubt that Cali has registered the greatest amount of pain... but, it has also registered the greatest amount of Joy. Now, before you dig an even deeper hole...Go check the archives. They bear witness to the "truth" of my words also!

In every case I've ever heard of where a guy got really burned by a woman from Cali, the guy ignored a lot of red flags.  If a guy ignores the red flags and takes a huge jump of faith, well he shouldn't be surprised by the outcome.  I can see that some guys have been hurt but their anger is being misdirected IMO.  It shouldn't be directed at Calenas, agencies, or feminists, they should be taking a closer look in the mirror and asking themself why they were willing to take such a risk.  Maybe a guy needs to date a lot of women first before taking the plunge.  I think a lot can be learned by doing this....
