It's OkieMan again

Hello Posters,

I had some time late  this evening, so I wanted to give all of you an update.  I am having a marvelous time here in Cali.  As I had posted before, I am staying at Pete's place.  He is a super host, and his apartment beats staying in a hotel.  The calena that I came here to see is proving to be a special lady, but I am still taking everything a step at a time.  Even though my spanish skills are still weak, she and I have discovered many ways to communicate.   I have met her son, her roommate and some other members of her family.
I have to fly back to the States early Thursday morning and get back to the "real world. What a bummer!  But, I certainly plan on coming back as soon as I can.  I hope that things will still work out for me and my calena, but if not, then I will still be interested in coming up with something else in LA.  As far as I am concerned, I have nothing to look forward to, as far as having a relationship with an AW.  I am afraid I have the latin bug! ha  I wish all of you the best with your own endeavors.

Thanks for the kind words.  By the way, me and another gringo staying here went on a double date with my calena and her best friend.  We took them to see the new Star Wars movie.  It was a lot of fun.

that´s great, my girlfriend and i are going with a group of her friends, cousins and their boyfriends, thank goodness she loves all types of movies. keep us informed of how things go with yours

Hey Jedi,

 Today is my last day in Cali.  My girlfriend called me a short time ago and invited me to go to her sister's house.  I have already met her sister and her kids.  I have not met her brother in law yet.  The main thing I wanted to relay to the board is that she and I have a great rapport. However, having said that, it will be very interesting to see what happens when I go back to the States.  I hope for the best.

Hey OkieMan,  the one good thing about going home is now you will get a chance to prepare for your return visit.   I am glad to learn that your trip has been going well.   I think that it is good that you have been able to meet her sister, the kids, see the house etc... alot can be learned about your special lady from those who surround her in her normal everyday life.    I have found that one of the most important times in the begining of these relationships is the time spent at home after your first meeting and in preparation for the return visit... you have the chance to experience her/your enthusiasm, does it continue?, the various feelings both will have pro and con, continued learning etc...   I hope you have a safe return trip home and I want to thank you for sharing with us all of your postings in preparation for your journey...   I hope all goes well for you!
