I defer to the good Reverend, since his experience is much fresher than mine.

... in response to Can you trust International Introduction..., posted by BAQman on May 21, 2005

I was preferring to stay out of this discussion, but...

After reading Jamie's 2nd response, including Jamie's reinforced apologies to BAQman, and BAQman's inability to accept the apologies and let this issue go... and since his latest message heading is a question ("Can you trust I-I?") I can authoritatively respond to... I now feel compelled to respond...

As I have stated in my previous recent posts, I recently returned from BAQ (6 days ago) where I used Jamie's agency, international-introductions.com.  I was extremely happy with the performance of Jamie and his translators that worked with me.  My experience actually exceeded my expectations.

In fact, I presented Jamie with a challenge that he did a very good job meeting.  As I have previously stated, I was targeting devout Christian women (Protestant or Catholic).

What I have NOT previously stated, was that I was Jamie's first minister client.  Perhaps I was his first celibate client, but of course I have no way of knowing that for sure :-) This posed some challenges for Jamie and his staff to present not only marriage-minded beautiful women that fit my criteria, but also women that might make a good wife for a minister, and have compatible spiritual objectives.  Faced with this challenge, Jamie and his staff did a great job for me.

Did Jamie and his staff do a perfect job?  No.  But I know of no perfect business in existence.  Were there problems with the way the agency handled things that arose during my 1-month stay?  Yes, but Jamie's staff handled these problems very well when they arose, and the outcome was always favorable for me.

In general, my opinion/synopsis of the "flame war" between Jamie and BAQman is the following...

1.  Jamie has taken responsibility and apologized for many errors done by his company in the handling of BAQman's experience.

2.  BAQman won't seem to let the issue go.

3.  Jamie and BAQman are still debating the veracity of certain facts and allegations.  Perhaps they will never agree on ALL the circumstances of BAQman's experience, and ALL who read this board may be better served if BAQman and Jamie can just agree to disagree on the remaining unresolved issues.

4.  Despite ALL the mistakes that Jamie made, even BAQman must admit that he found his wife through the existence (if nothing else) and at least to SOME extent, some efforts (no matter how flawed at the time) on the part of Jamie's agency.

5.  All of these allegations by BAQman, both those confirmed and unconfirmed by Jamie, occured well over 1-year ago.  No matter how incompetent Jamie's agency may have performed at that time, I can vouch for their EXCELLENT service RIGHT NOW.  Again, I just returned from a 1-month stay in BAQ, using the services of International Introductions, a scant 6-days ago...

A Final Note...

I have been successful dating several beautiful women in the USA.  Unfortunately, merely "dating" women that you meet in generic circumstances has not been a very efficient way to find a wife for me.  I selected Jamie's agency primarily because of his unique introduction system, and his self-alleged outstanding commitment to customer service (on his website).  During my BAQ experience, he and his staff lived up to and exceeded my expectations of customer service.

In fact, I based my destination largely on which agency I thought would help me find my wife most efficiently.  Along with the abundant research I did on various foreign marriage agencies, I did do some (minimal) research on USA personal matchmaking services as well.  Therefore, if Jamie's agency had been in Bogota, Medellin, Los Angeles, or New York, instead of BAQ, I would have likely travelled to one of those other cities to work with Jamie's agency.

It is still a little too early for ME to know if one of the gorgeous women that I found through the efforts of Jamie and his staff will eventually become my wife...

... but at least BAQman has a current wife as a result of his interaction with Jamie's agency... isn't that SOMETHING to be happy about?

I agree with you.  Jaime makes more of an effort than most agencies combined.  At least he has the balls to face the music here, and on other boards and not run away and hide.  I respect him for that.

I say give him a break.  He obviously is trying to do his best job.  Some people are never satisfied, no matter what you do.  That has more to do with them, than the agency owner.

Fly your flag high Jaime, at least you have guts. More power to you.

Reverend, if you, as a man of God, say that this is how his agency runs now, I'll defer to your more recent experience...no question.

BAQman, I sincerely appreciate your response.  I wish, and pray, for continued blessings and success for you and your wife.

Hopefully I will be able to follow in your footsteps and identify which woman will become my wife soon :-)

Gracias

Can we trust you? I don't think so... you post a story of your frist trip to
Colombia and you get scraded when the police at the airport talk to you. Was
this your first rip to Latin America? You post no info about yourself nothing... I
think it is very interesting that you do not tell anyone about what you did while
you were in Colombia but you post almost on a daily basis on how bad Jamie's
angency. I got news for you dude other men here have posted how good they
are... I smell a rat here for some reason...
