Spend one day driving to the airport two hours on the plane, ten minutes to the apartment and my attitude begin to improve. Then  I sign on tonight to observe that my clever jibes ****engage the idiotic, enrage the despotic, enrage the neurotic have been lost to posterity. Por Que??? I threatened no one, Defamed no one. I made no comments about a spouse. The worst I can be accused of is calling someone arrogant. Which I believe is obviously evident. I explained my distain for people who don't have the class to try to understand the feelings and internal desires of their romantic partner, along with I might add, the belief that it is ok, she will adjust to you.

Buying furniture is not funny. Telling others that conversation in ones native language is not important only shows the lack of understanding of spanish culture. Women are auditory and men are visual. Why do you think so many beautiful women are with ugly men. Humor and the ability to make a woman feel loved are the most necessary skills. Both require the correct words.  My secretary once commented about the remarks made by men on the street here. She loved them. As Sheryl Crowe said " lie to me I promise to believe".

Comments on long thread

Heat's CV seems to show he may actually know what he is talking about.

As to the Cola remark, Cola means end,  back or a polite term for butt. When the people are asking where is it, don't look behind you, it means the end of the line.

To Tommy ---- two weeks here and already crying to Hoda. Who are you really?

Pablo   allright you and Jamie are buds. He is a big boy and I am sure his wife runs a great agency. Why don't you go back to helping your other agency bud try to rent his apartment in trashy Cabrero,

Finally Jamie why the veiled comments about Heat and violence. Trust me, HEAT is a pussycat. Serious people never make threats. jimc

"Serious people never make threats."

True but stupid people do.

Finally Jamie why the veiled comments about Heat and violence.

"veiled" there was no cover to my comment.

"Then I sign on tonight to observe that my clever jibes... have been lost to posterity"

I am sadden also, in case you did not see my last reply:

Jim you don’t need to be vocal for me to see the message little digs bare the marks of shovels. Repeating one doesn’t get it is not a form of persuasion. Not answering my questions is not an exchange. You may love poetry but eloquent words can be found in any Communist manifesto. I prefer dialogue that is logical, direct, open and simple.  But for some such simplicity is confusing they would rather tangle the language and avoid the thrust, as such one stays ignorant. My invitation to you remains open if you want a fair debate challenge me on my misadvise but please don’t hide behind philosophical jargon.

“than taking the "I know you are but what am I" defense”
Please give me one specific example of me taking such a stance?

“twist the truth into denial.”

Please give me one specific example where I do this?
No doubt there will a long wait before I ever see such examples.

“You responded that competition is good for business.”

For someone so versed on good semantics you could of properly quoted me or at least get the intent correct what I said was, “Anyway competition is good it makes us better.”

If it helps your recollection I can post the full email.
Taking a literature lesson from Heat is illuminating but no surprise in the bias overview of his post. If this is the kind of attacks you support that lacks any credence of truth or substantiation then any salutations from you would be a waste of your time.

Best wishes with your agency I am sure others can benefit from your good advice, however I’ll stick to mine if you don’t mind.

"For someone so versed on good semantics you could of properly quoted me"

Jamie, it should be, you could HAVE quoted me...NOT "could of"
and maybe versed IN good semantics instead of versed "on"

just two of about 15 grammatical errors in your above post...other than that, not bad writing at all...

Hola Beenthere, I know Pablo personally and spent time with him in MDE and consider him a friend. He has given me advice occasionally and trying to find his naranja like many of the rest of us. Sure, his Spanish could stand some improvement but most of us are always learning and that does not make him a bad guy  Not sure why the issue with him – if Jamie and I can find peace then you two should be able to kiss and makeup. It is bad enough that we have to deal with scammers, lousy LA service, sloppy agencies and no shows and in my case a returned ring on the K1 approval - why fight among ourselves all the time? we are on the same team. Give it some thought. Do you live in Fla? I am based in Miami. Maybe we can meet for a beer sometime and strategize. Off this afternoon to CR – nos vemos

actually Papi, I might be in Miami in a few weeks visiting a Caleña there...I'll take you up on that beer...as far as pablo goes, well, there is more to the story than meets the eye here on PL...but if you check the archives, you'll find that he instigated our troubles here on PL...but as I stated in a personal e-mail to him yesterday, I'm willing to bury the hatchet.
BTW: you have some very attractive women on your website...looks like you're off to a good start!
