Where is he getting this info? In my experience, there are far more gringos that come home with a half dozen phone numbers from beautiful Latinas regardless of the agency or tour attended, many of whom get married to one of them.

Jake, agencies are far from perfect, but your experiences are a lot more negative than I have seen. I wish you would expand about your negative experiences.

We can all see his bitter; but why?

I've asked him nicely to tell his story about how he and the other guys he met got ripped off and he just blew it off. He says he want to help others no get ripped off but he offers no advice and won't tell what happen to him. I'm sure it's embarrasing but I think he should tell us when were and how he got ripped off. Otherwise he has no crediblity.

We are going to lure you into a sleazy agency office and have you sit there all alone for 4 hours and then were going to have you take a long drive and meet a woman you know nothing about and surprise you with a 2 for 1 deal, she’s going to be 8 months pregnant. Jake, I have had some similar experiences. I recall very much wanting to meet a woman off a popular site – she was the main attraction for my interest in the agency. However, on cita day she was a no show which I also don’t like but since she was my main interest the agency made a similar deal and I had to go in a taxi across town to meet her. When she came down the stairs she was no longer the hot young nubile thing in the photo. I didn't think she was pregnant but it looked liked she'd been packing on the empanadas since her photo shoot. Hey, maybe we dated the same girl??? Anyway, I have had both good and bad agency experiences and now in the process of opening one myself in attempt to offer better, but some things are out of the control of the agency – like getting pregnant or packing on the pounds.

Papi , I never even saw a photo of this lady where this agemcie sent me ... after 4 no shows this lady  was pushing me out the door to see this girl . I don't even think this pregnant lady was a member .... maybe some lady of the night who had seen a few american men ...

i am with you on the no shows - very annoying but goes with the territory. my experience has been that it varies by area. tours provide another option Jake rather than the cita thing. TLC and AFA are probably the most well-known but other agencies have large parties too. and of course i am putting together a tour and just finished a photo shoot and will be open for biz very soon

You couldn't get any of those poor little colombianas to meet with you let alone date you? hehehe!

There goes the green card shark theory. And here I thought any american guy with enough money to buy an airplane ticket could get a nice looking colombiana;-)

Anyway don't just tease us. What was the agency you used and how much did they take you for?

P.S. If you strike out in Colombia, go to the Ukraine. Just tape a hundred dollar bill to your forehead. I hear that's one months wages there.

I never said I struck out ........ I have met a beautiful lady and should be here shortly . but that is not the point ...... it is called accountability ... after all these years the www and save and protected many men from being ripped off ........... Because I had business in SA I was able to go there a lot ... like 8-9 times a year ... and I saw more BS going on  , guys getting ripped off like a georgia peach off a tree .  it needs to stop ......... guys like OKie , lookingforwife and others can learn from our past ...

Heck just start by telling us how you got ripped off.

I never felt that I didn't get my moneys worth at any agency in Cali but then again I don't normally pay up front. Sure I have had appointments not show up. But if they don't, the agency doesn't get a dime and I'm out about thirty minutes of my time. I tell the agency right up front that I won't wait more than a half an hour or they can send them to my hotel.

And then I have seen guys that meet a bunch of women and still don't feel like they didn't get their monies worth. Why? Because they didn't hit it off with any of them. Seriously some guys just need to go to the Philipines. Colombia isn't for everybody.
