Bogota

Hi guys... I need a little help here. I am heading to Bogota to visit the embassy. I need to know what hotels you would recommend that are perhaps close to the embassy? I like quiet hotels versus hotels that are right on the busy side of heavy traveled avenues..Any suggestions? I am comfortable paying up to $110.00 per day if necessary. Thanks..

More to your liking would be the Andino Royale,not real close,15 miniutes or so,more in the north.I think the Royale hotels are now Radisons.I paid like $110 a night 5 years ago.Might be more now.Real nice,suites.I know your style.And the north ishereyou will find the restaurants you like,like in the Zona Rosa area.
Your wife has an appointment I presume ? Hopefully there will be just one trip to the embassy,then enjoy Bogota a little.

The several times I've gone to the embassy, I've always stayed at the "Hotel De La Feria".  It's conveniently located a few blocks away and is good hotel.
