filled with guys who seemingly have nothing else to do with their time, but obsess over finding an immigrant latina and exchanging bullshit stories. I swear, there are guys on here that have posted nearly every day of the last 3 to 4 years. That is pathological/abnormal behavior. Total losers.

Isn't there more to life?

Shared interests, likes, desires, destinations...

Sounds like the makings of a club.

PL and other forums like it--forums of any topic, in fact--are just that.  If you can't handle being in this "club," why are you averaging one post nearly every other day since returning to the site?

Sounds like you're a bit Michael Moore-ish, in the sense that he claimed to be an NRA member so he can sound impartial--yet beneath the surface is a hard-core critic of gun owners.

Did you think that by putting "Dr" in your forum handle that the posters here who'd found wives or novias in LA would recommend you to their female relatives/friends?  ("Oye, mi amor, conozco un doctor soltero que esta buscando una esposa!")  Or, was your intention to rely on this "Dr" thing as insurance in moments when you'd expect to have your point of view respected?

or ten times a day...It shouldn't be any real concern of yours! In regards to bullshit stories....I'm POSITIVE that everyone who has ever posted here....Somebody here has labelled their story as "Bullshit". Aaron, you know better than to toss such a big blanket of judgement around.

Later....

Aaron,
Why so anti social? Whats that all about?
Sometimes you have something positive to say and other times you go in to a prolonged WHINE.
Need everybody to agree with you?
Can't take any critisizm at all?
Life doesn't give you the respect due a DOCTOR?
Respect you earn.Nobody gives a sh!t about the credentials you like to try and flaunt.Doesn't buy you nothing here but looking like an ass.

Didn't Aaron post recently that he went to Cali and met a girl and in a few days was so enamored by her that he is bringing her to the US on a fiancé visa??  Sounds like the behavior of a desperate man to me...

Maybe, but lots of us would have tom plead guilty on something like that.Fiance visas seem like  a  safe option to check someone out,but you are way down the road to commitment with that.
But I wish I had done one.But why do I think her behavior would have been better for 90 days. She wouldn't do it,which is a signal in itself.

But Pete, Aaron has a Phd. and has followed this board for a few years, and has made more than a few trips to Colombia...I will tell anyone, they are a FOOL to file for a fiancé visa for a girl they just met and spent a few days with.  Anyone who does that is desperate and is making a huge mistake.  After a few trips down to see her, yes, and MAYBE if additional trips can't be made, let some time pass, correspond over the phone & internet, then see if there is still a spark...but just to meet someone, and after a few days file for her fiancé visa, tell the government that you're in love and you have plans to get married...sounds like Aaron is just trying to buy a bride, instead of romancing her, and letting the process of falling in love take place.  I'm sure he has her convinced that he's a M.D. and has a thriving practice.  Also I would be VERY leary of a woman who would agree to come here for 3 months and live with a stranger that she just met and only spent a few days with.

I'm a firm believer in fiancé visas, but just because you've known the girl for a few days, doesn't justify going through the process.  Get to know the girl, fall in love, and then file...no wonder there is such a back-log on these types of visas.
