Hotels Close to US Embassy in Bogota

Evening All,
I am currently searching for hotels that are close to the US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia.  My fiance has her interview later this month and I intend to go with her to the interview.  I plan on meeting her there a couple of days early so we can take care of her medical exam and finalize everything.  

So for those that have travel experience in Bogota, which hotels are close to the US Embassy and are nice.  I do not necessarily need a 5 star but a 3 or 4 star (or something equilivant) would be nice.  I know in Medellin that the apartments or condo's are usually cheaper and very nice so any opinions/advice about where to stay for approximately 4-5 days in Bogota would be appreciated.

Another good option is the apartment or condo-style hostal
very close to the Embassy owned by Senora Flor. It is a safe
and comfortable bed and breakfast place. I have known the
lady owner for several years now, and many of the ladies like
her because she is kindly and very helpful.  Since many couples
processing for a fiancee visa have stayed at her place in the past,
as an added bonus, Flor sometimes even offers to look over
your visa papers for you. Below is all the contact info.

try Hotel De La Ferria

Here is the link. It is probably about five or ten minutes from the Embassy. it is nice, safe and clean.  Rates start at about 55-60 a night for a basic room or junior suite.  Breakfast and airport pick up and dropp off are included.  In Room DSL available for a small rate. Some of the Staff does speak English.
