Sir Jediknight,  Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story with us.   I am glad to learn that your trip was a success.   You have definately touched your girlfriends heart in many ways.   Much continued success for the both of you...   a great example for all future warriors who will be making their trips,  the bar has been raised another notch... this is going to be a tough act to follow!

You old smoothie! ha  Congratulations again!  Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to experience that type of love with a latina.

WOW - great story

I surprised my wife when I asked her to marry me.
Everyone in her family and her friends knew I was coming to ask her to marry me. The best part was NO ONE let the cat out of the bag.
We had about 100 people at the restaurant waiting for us to show up. Our Mariachi band was a little late though.

The hardest thing now is - how are you going to top that when you do ask her to marry?Huh
Do they do sky writing in Colombia?HuhHuh??

TE AMO PERU!!!!

the wheels are turning and i have some ideas, maybe for new years eve? it has to be something huge with everyone there, but there is time to think about it some more. this is the stuff we're going to tell our kids so i will think of something extremely special.

Jediknight,

That was truly a beautiful story.  I hope that someday, I will have the opportunity to do sweet things like that for a sweet special lady. The lady I am corresponding with in Cali has definite potential; but only time will tell.  Best of luck for you and your novia.  Let us know when the "wedding bells" get started! ha

JK

I would have love to see the look on her face when she saw you. I really
thought that was a fantastic ideal. How did you get everyone not to tell her? I
think if I tried to surprise my wife she would have one of her sisters or
mother tell her I was coming there, but I am glad everything is really working
out well for you.

absolutly no one knew i was going to colombia, only that there was going to be a surprise that night,  i had asked her uncle to tell everyone to please be there because i was sending her something that would arrive in the evening and not to say anything and since she is loved by everyone, noone wanted to spoil it for her,so when the band showed up that night everyone thought that was the surprise, noone imagined that i would show up. while i was talking to her on the phone she was telling me how much everyone was thrilled that i had sent her that gift..
