A friend of mine just returned from Cali. He said Diego's Ill Cortile resturant was for rent does any one have any information about this?
Thanks

Diego's place was where I took all my "first & sometimes last" dates! I remember, all the drinks & dinners the "Breakfast Club Members" had there...man, they were a blast! But most important...was the special candle light dinner with Andreas Bocelli playing in the background. It was light a dream (and still is). That one special nite, that I knew, I wanted this woman to be my wife. It's also the location where I proposed. Diego, helped me pull off a surprise that my wife & family still talk about.
Dayyum....I would hate to see that place close down *sigh*

I have great memories of Diego's restaurant also.My first date with a chica  here.A get to know you dinner with my ex wifes family.Hanging out there with John B drinking cervesa and talking to Diego.
Its been open here for over 5 years since I first found it.I have been there 5 times since I moved here, but its not the same as getting together with people there in the old days. But those old favorite places do close. So if you have some others around don't forget to give them some business or they could be gone to.
Diego has some sort of newspaper he is publishing. What else he is up to I am not sure.

For rent as in no longer being operated as the restaurant?
I heard Diego was tired of it,wanted out.I was there 6 weeks or so ago.Diego was out of town,I didn't see him.He never seemed to have that much business. He lived upstairs, that probably made it easier to afford.
