I have had a lot of bad luck with calling cards. I need a card for a cell phone in colombia. But, when I buy it and use it, the actual minutes I get are very different than what was advertised. A lot of the companies have hidden fees. Does anybody know of a decent card to call a colombian cell at a decent price?

Also, I will be going to Bogota (in June) for my fiancee visa interview and am looking for a place in the zona rosa or north part. Does anyone know of any moderately priced hotels between 60-80 dollars a night?  I am relatively new to this site. So, any feedback will be appreciated!!

I've had pretty good luck in the past ordering pre-paid cards online from http://pointme.to/expresspin  Site has a search tool that will show you all the different cards available.

(Not affiliated with them..just a satisfied customer passing along info.)

8 is a good calling card for land lines. I've only had to call a cell once or twice, a long time ago, and don't remember what card I used. Seems like all the cards (even Cool have hidden fees, the only way to get all the advertised minutes is to use them all up in one long call. Even without the hidden fees, they all charge higher per minute charges for calling to a cell phone.

I don't know if they even sell it on line, in fact there are a lot of them that are only isused in Texas, it may be one of them. I buy it from small stores over in the Mexican part of town. The competition is so stiff that several stores sell a large variety of $5.00 cards for $4.00 and $10.00 cards for $8.00. Darn it, I thought I had one laying around and was going to give you their customer service number, but I can't find it right now, must be out in the car. If you still need it tomorrow, post here again and I'll bring it in after work and give you their number.

All the cards are for land lines, the rate for a cell phone is alot more but
sometimes it is cheaper then the regulare phone.
