K-1 timetable question

My prometida just got her packet 3 from Bogota. Once she sends her documents back to Bogota via fax, how long will it be for the interview date?? I have heard anywhere from 1 to 2 months. I cannot get down there until June because of my job. So, I told her to hold the documents until the middle of April. She was disappointed but understood my situation. We have waited a while for this to happen. Any input would be appreciated!!

What does it matter when YOU can go there? They are going to interview HER (whether you are there or not). If you need to give her 'moral support', that's ya'lls business and you have every right to handle it that way, but she'll be up here a month or two sooner if she just sends them everything they ask for ASAP.

You aren't required at the interview so why not get everything done now?

She should hold them past April 20th. They schedule the appointments for the following month by the 20th of the previous month. This way she would miss the May appointment schedule but make the June schedule. Of course sometimes they squeeze in last minute appointments so there is a small danger she might still make the May list even if she sends the forms in April 20th.
