I just don't see the EXTENT of what you are saying here.  There are loud angry people in every group, but as a whole I like all the different ethnicity's, and I think many people feel the same.  In addition, this latest generation seems to be more color blind than prior generations, since the US has become more diverse than ever.   
I see a lot of interracial type marriages, so ultimately the future is already being sewn, and racial components causing grief should be on a steady decline over decades....I wouldn't give up hope!

The Baby Boomer generation is the worst generation in US history, a selfish group of louts who should be killed off in a plague.  The next 20 years are going to be terrible but once that generation is dead, things should progress assuming anyone survives that long.

Actually, some of the "wall" is already complete. The double/triple layer fence here on the San Diego border is working quite well. Most of the smuggling has moved east where there is nothing to stop them from crossing.

The congress already passed a law before Bush left office to fund and build the fence for another 700 miles I think. But Obama ignored the law and wanted the borders open so more potential Democrat voters can come in easily.

There will likely be some accommodation made to allow many of the illegals to stay here and work legally, but there will still be millions who will need to be deported. It would be insane to simply let EVERYONE stay here who is already here when a new immigration law goes into affect.

More recent arrivals, those with criminal records, and those with no means of support should be escorted out.

We both have been on this forum a long time and you used to be one of the most positive people here but I have seen a real change in you the past say 3 years or so, What gives ??

I live in North Carolina which has a tremendous amount of Black people. While we have some issues like all places, for the most part things are not that bad here  unless a Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton shows ups and stirs the pot. I think Obama has set race relations and race progress years back but I still believe that there is nowhere in the world that is better to live and prosper that the good ole USA.

You say Boomers are the problem, on the contrary, we are the workers and the ones that above all get our asses out of bed and go do our job and do not complain nor expect a 100K salary out of collage just because you have a degree.

What this old Boomer does expect though is a government that keeps my taxes low, my security high , the Illegals on the other side of the border, an opportunity to better myself through my own work ethic and determination, protect my SS monies that I contribute too and stay the hell out of my bedroom.

I will agree on getting a fake or friends SS# because they come in every day to my wife's credit union and present them. The paying taxes  part is more complex as even if they pay taxes, they claim long lost relatives in Mexico as dependents and thus get huge refunds  and way more than they paid in.

They come into my wife's credit union bragging about this and there just is not much she can do about it.
She comes home pissed a lot because of all the underhanded things these people do, thus she did her part to try to force them back across the border.

As far as I'm concerned they can all take a hike as they contribute little to my community. I mean like we need another Mexican Restaurant--PLEEEEZZZZZ
